Samar plays the shank while Choti asks Anuj and Anupama if they will participate in the Diwali puja. Anupama suggests that their Dadi should lead the puja, and she also urges Malti Devi to join in. Everyone gathers for the puja, including Vanraj, at the Shah house. Following Malti Devi’s lead, Anuj and Anupama also participated in the puja. As they pray, Anupama shares her thoughts on celebrating Diwali and mentions how important it is to pray for their country and the entire world. She hopes for blessings upon everyone, while Anuj adds his wish for happiness and joy in all households worldwide.

Vanraj informs Baa and Babu ji that he has a special gift for them – a brochure for the Rehab Centre. Kavya mentions that Vanraj will go to the center to improve his well-being. Vanraj explains that he wants to recover to support them better fully. However, Baa expresses concern about who will care for Kavya if Vanraj leaves. Just then, the driver from the rehab center arrives, and Baa insists on him returning, stating that her son will not go. In response, Vanraj reiterates his desire to seek treatment so that Kavya does not have to manage everything alone in his current condition. He urges Baa to let him go so that he can recover faster.

Kavya says to let him go and asks him to return soon. Vanraj informs Toshu and Kinjal that he will miss them, to which Kinjal replies that they will miss him too. Vanraj touches Kavya’s face tenderly before placing his hand on her baby bump. Kavya then tells their unborn child that Papa will be back soon. Speaking to Baa and Babu ji, Vanraj assures them they will quickly hear about his return as Vanraj Shah. At the dance academy, Anuj and Anupama light diyas together. Anuj playfully reminds her of the many diyas they have lit on previous Diwalis. As they take a selfie together, Dimpy looks on with a smile. Anuj and Anupama catch Dimpy’s gaze before she joins in and light some diyas.

Tapish arrives and takes hold of the diya. Curious, she inquires why he is present since it is his day off. He confesses to feeling lonely and decides to visit. He asks if she feels the same way, and she responds that she came for Lakshmi puja. Tapish catches her as she faints and offers assistance, which she declines. He gingerly picks up a showpiece Dimpy scolds him for, saying it was intentionally placed there. As Dimpy attempts to replace it, she drops it, but Tapish catches it before it hits the ground. Overwhelmed with emotions, Dimpy cries and confesses her inability to handle Samar’s belongings. She reveals that the showpiece belongs to him, and Tapish suggests imagining himself as a teddy bear instead of Samar. Anupama observes their interaction.

The following day, Baa tends to Babu ji and questions his decision to go for a walk. He responds that it’s because she always starts nagging as soon as she wakes up. She points out that he seems out of breath and asks if he has contacted Vanraj yet. Babu ji reveals that Vanraj reached out to him first. Baa expresses her hope that Vanraj will return soon while Babu ji inquires about any new orders they may have received. Baa confirms one and explains that they will finish it before Pakhi and Choti arrive. Toshu and Kinjal arrive with treats, followed by Kinjal bringing spices since they are hard to find. Baa proudly shares that she has made all the Masalas, Achaar, Thepla, etc., but offers them when they leave instead. Kinjal graciously thanks her for the kind gesture.

Anupama is cooking with her friends Anuj, Ankush, and Romil. She requests Romil to pick a leaf. Anuj tells Ankush to look, and they both find it amusing. Anupama reminds Ankush not to chop it too harshly but rather gently. Anuj mentioned that they would have to leave soon and that she would have to finish the work alone. However, Ankush reassures her they are all together and won’t abandon the task. Anupama suggests taking a break from working. Anuj jokes that she can control regular workers but not union workers like them. Curious about what is being made, Ankush asks for the dish’s name. Anupama tells him and adds that they must hurry to the Shah household afterward. She smiles at the thought. Malti Devi enters the room and overhears their conversation, becoming upset.

Romil questions why Malti Devi constantly displays arrogance and accuses her of manipulating Choti against you. He wonders why you are remaining silent. Anupama explains that choosing our battles is essential, and not every newcomer should be seen as a threat. Romil points out that you have years of experience dealing with mothers-in-law and have successfully managed Baa for many years, so Malti Devi should not be challenging. Anuj interrupts to ask what is being prepared for the meal. Anupama responds that it’s pulao, but Anuj confidently declares himself as the head chef who will make it.

Pakhi discovers a gift in a box and quickly puts on the necklace inside. Adhik arrives and explains that he purchased it for Dimpy as a bhai dooj present, adding that Dimpy considers him her brother. He mentions Pakhi’s previous doubts about their relationship and notes that he can still get gifts for his sister. Pakhi says that Adhik never gave her his credit card and asks when he got her a gift the last time. He retorts by saying she constantly orders things for herself and asks if she ever considered getting him something, such as perfume. Adhik takes back the necklace, prompting Pakhi to express her concern that giving it to Dimpy will only bring them closer, leaving Pakhi feeling distant from their mother. She asks why Adhik didn’t think of this beforehand and concludes by saying she cannot wear the necklace. Adhik asks why she feels this way.

Pakhi informs Anupama of Dimpy’s new status as a widow. Anupama, concerned, urges Pakhi not to use that word when referring to Dimpy. Pakhi insists on speaking the truth and explains that widows do not dress in such a way. Adhik intervenes, telling Pakhi to stop. However, Pakhi justifies her statement by stating the right to freedom of speech and equating it to the term “suhaagan” used for married women. This angers Anupama, who questions how Pakhi would feel if someone called her infertile. She expresses her pain at hearing such words being used for her brother’s wife.

Pakhi has expressed that you caused her pain, and Anupama believes no one can help you understand except for a psychiatrist. She advises Dimpy not to hurt anyone and leaves. Adhik agrees that Pakhi needs professional help. Meanwhile, Dimpy falls while attempting to open the door, but Tapish quickly catches her and suggests she consider getting assistance. Although she declines, Tapish reminds her to think about the well-being of her child, at least, if not herself. He then proceeds to open the door for her.

Tapish brings a screwdriver and fixes the door handle when they get inside. He looks at Dimpy. Baa notices them and asks what’s going on.

Precap:

Baa accuses Dimpy of searching for a life partner so soon. Dimpy hugs Anupama and tells her she is innocent. Anupama says I trust her and know she can’t do anything. Baa asks if I am wrong and asks her to go. Dimpy says you deserve to stay alone, and everyone will leave. Baa faints and cries.
