It is the rakhi festival that brings happiness to the home, but how to celebrate it amidst the troubles, is what Anupama says. Babu ji sent the message to Anuj, he says. Although the circumstances are not right, Babu ji invites Anuj to come celebrate Rakhi with him, but they will do some shagun anyway. Babu ji asks him to bring Pakhi, Choti Anu, and Romil, not Adhik. Anuj says something seems to be happening tomorrow. Anupama asks if Pakhi will go without Adhik.
Baa presents the cloth to Dimpy, mentioning her plans to remove the lakshman rekha due to the festival taking place today. Dimpy reminds her that it is only a festival for Baa, as her brother’s entrance has been restricted. Baa suggests insuring the area instead, and before further discussion, Kinjal arrives and informs Baa of her intentions to prepare prasad and arrange for puja. She inquires about sugar, which Kavya quickly offers. Baa cautions Kinjal against allowing Kavya’s involvement with the prasad and leaves. Kavya points out that she was once the daughter-in-law of this household, but now considers herself evil.
She says that I will not use harsh words like Baa, that I have not forgiven Toshu yet, and that it is impossible for Baa to forgive you. She asks her to make prasad if she wants, and says I will handle Baa. Kavya says Baa will get angry. Kinjal says Toshu can sit in the puja, why shouldn’t you? She asks her to make prasad.
Anuj approaches Anupama to let her know that he is ready. She removes the evil eye from him and he asks in confusion. Anupama then clarifies, questioning what she did. Anuj expresses that she has caused his heart rate to rise and playfully asks what she did. He adorns her with a necklace and a gajra, causing Anupama to blush. Anuj compliments her appearance while Choti Anu enters the room. Anupama welcomes her onto her lap and inquires about her sad expression. Anuj also shows concern and Choti Anu reveals that Adhik is her brother-in-law, but Romil is like a brother to her and she wants to tie rakhi on his wrist. She expresses fear of his anger and elaborates on how there is always some sort of argument during every festival or event. In response, Anuj reassures them both that they will try their best to avoid any conflicts. Choti Anu concludes with a prayer for everything to go smoothly.
Pakhi and Choti Anu receive gifts from Samar. Dimpy starts scolding them for wasting money on his sisters. Toshu says it is from both of us. Dimpy says you do not earn money, so you’re giving Samar’s gift as your own. Toshu and Samar used to give Pakhi whatever they wanted, and Vanraj says nobody has the right to intervene between siblings.
Barkha lovingly ties rakhi to Adhik, stating that she values their sibling bond above anyone else’s opinion. Upon seeing this, Pakhi smiles with joy. Choti Anu wonders aloud why Kaki didn’t wait for them to also tie rakhi. Anupama suggests that they let Pakhi go first and tie rakhi to her brother. Adhik and Barkha share a warm embrace, as Barkha blesses him. Ankush jokes that Barkha should ask for intelligence and good manners for her brother. Adhik apologizes for not having a gift for her on Rakhi. However, Barkha insists that she doesn’t need anything else from him. Pakhi surprises them by bringing a beautiful necklace as a rakhi gift from their family’s side. Both Barkha and Adhik look shocked upon seeing the expensive present. Adhik reveals that it was gifted by their mother and Anuj bhaiya to Barkha. Feeling conflicted, Barkha expresses her hesitation in accepting such an expensive gift.
Pakhi confirms that it belongs to our family. Ankush wonders why you were the one who received the slaps, and suggests Barkha should have been given half as well. Pakhi assures them that my husband has apologized and changed his ways. Adhik announces that he will buy a gift for Didi with his first salary. Despite Barkha’s refusal, Adhik signals her to accept it. Pakhi urges him to present the necklace to her. Barkha expresses gratitude, saying at least you are still together, and requests Pakhi not to leave him. Pakhi reassures them that she will always stand by him, even if people try to incite her against him, because she knows how wonderful Adhik is. Adhik puts the necklace on Barkha, bringing joy to her face.
Choti Anu asks Romil if she can tie him a rakhi. Romil says no. Ankush asks him to keep her heart. Romil agrees. Choti Anu ties Rakhi to him. Choti Anu says even a sister can protect her brother, since he promises to protect her sisters. Anupama says guiding her brother to the right path is a strong bond between the brother and the sister.
Romil gets emotional when Choti Anu asks him about the gift. He says he doesn’t have anything now. Choti Anu hugs him and says you will make me ice cream later. Adhik says he has differences with Romil, so you may tie him a rakhi. Pakhi says she doesn’t want to tie him a rakhi. Choti Anu asks now we shall go to Babu Ji’s house. Pakhi says let’s go. Anupama says you are just called there, not Pakhi, and you are called there.
Dimpy says Pakhi will still do drama regardless of whether she comes here. Pakhi says she plans to tie rakhi with her brothers, even though her husband is not invited.
