Anupama expresses her gratitude towards Anuj, who then recalls Gurumaa Malti Devi’s reaction. He shares with her a lingering question – why did Gurumaa refer to him as Anuj during their first encounter? Anupama also admits to being puzzled, suggesting that it could be due to their relationship or the recent media attention. Putting her mind at ease, Anuj says it’s not a big deal. Anupama adds that this is just how Gurumaa is. Complimenting her on the rose she is wearing, Anuj tells her that she looks lovely. Shyly, she thanks him and he responds by saying that she had mentioned wanting to grow and move forward, and he too wishes for the same for her. However, he’ll miss her dearly. As Anupama walks away, Ankush approaches Anuj and reminds him of the planned surprise for everyone.
Hasmukh departs with his friends, leaving Leela to enquire of Vanraj’s whereabouts. She expresses concern that he shouldn’t have left on his grandson’s wedding day. However, Vanraj explains that Hasmukh’s friend suffered a heart attack and he had to leave urgently. The family gathers in the hall, eagerly anticipating Anuj’s surprise. Despite this joyous occasion, Leela can’t help but feel envious when she sees Anupama chatting with Gurumaa. She even comments that Gurumaa is acting like royalty while Anupama is her mere servant. Dolly defends Anupama and points out that she would have done the same for her boss. Leela continues to comment, this time about Vanraj taking care of Kavya and implies that he has moved on from Anupama to Kavya. However, Dolly reminds Leela that Vanraj and Kavya are finally together after a long separation and they both look happy; just like Toshu/Kinjal, Samar/Dimpy, and Anuj/Anupama.
Nakul has often questioned Gurumaa about why she chose Anupama as her successor, especially since their relationship only began a month ago. In response, Gurumaa reminds Nakul that a successor must possess qualities such as dealing with difficult situations calmly and keeping everyone united. She believes that Anupama possesses these traits, which makes her the ideal choice. As if on cue, Anupama approaches Gurumaa to offer her some juice and Nakul’s jealousy intensifies. Vanraj notices this dynamic between them. Meanwhile, Anuj and Ankush announce the arrival of a special guest who is loved by all generations and has the ability to bring romance into even the most unlikely people. They mention his impressive record of singing 28 songs in a day, creating quite a buzz in the audience. Finally, Anupama correctly guesses that it is none other than Kumar Sanu and Anuj invites everyone to give him a warm welcome with loud applause.
Kumar Sanu makes his entrance, belting out the soulful tune of Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahi. The crowd eagerly watches, anticipating his performance. When he finishes, Anupama expresses her gratitude for singing a song that holds special meaning to her. Praising Sanu da’s flawless performance, Ankush credits Anuj for the idea of inviting him. Anuj shares the story of how he stumbled upon one of Sanu da’s concerts in Mumbai and was instantly captivated by his music, prompting him to invite him to Samar and Dimple’s wedding. Sanu da reveals that Anuj specifically requested for him to start with this particular song as it is close to Anupama’s heart, earning a smile from her. As everyone continues to express their love for his songs, Anupama reminisces about her romantic moments with Anuj. Sonu then asks which song is next on the list.
Sanu da sings Tere Ishq Mein Nachenge. The song is sung by Anupama, Anuj, and other couples. Maaya is jealous of Anuj and Anupama’s dance. Sanu da sings Ye Kaali Kaali Ankhen.. Maaya approaches Anuj, but Anupama retreats. Gurumaa notices this. She tells Anupama that she can see their friendship growing once again, but it shouldn’t become a shackle for her.
