Anupama acknowledges that Pakhi may feel hurt by her words, as she has been trying to make her husband better. However, Anupama feels helpless about giving false hope in this situation. Vanraj responds by saying that husbands can also change their ways. Anupama then explains how women spend their entire lives trying to reform their husbands, but they should not have to be a rehabilitation center for them. She points out the 25 years of sacrifice and tears that go into it, with the possibility of finally being happy in old age. Anupama adds that as a mother, it is her responsibility to guide her daughter and she was doing just that – even if it may seem like she was being a bad mother.

Anuj tells Vanraj that it is their matter and that’s why he is not interfering, but he will tell one thing, and tell them to search Pakhi, which is more important now. Samar says Anupama that they will go home now, since baa and babu ji will worry. Toshu promises to call sweety’s friends. Anupama asks them to look after Papa and everyone. Toshu says he will. Vanraj apologizes for the inconvenience.

Just then, Anuj receives a phone call from PS. The Inspector informs him that in the event of an accident or an unclaimed dead body, they will be notified. Anuj requests to be informed if anything happens. Anupama is taken aback as she remembers her time with her. Similarly, Vanraj reminisces about his moments with Pakhi. Assuring Anupama, Anuj tells her not to worry and explains that it is a routine police check and she most likely checked into the hotel. Samar also comforts Anupama and tells her not to worry. Vanraj prays for his daughter’s well-being while Anupama turns to God for protection. Each family member reflects on their individual memories with Pakhi and becomes melancholic. Vanraj listens to a past voicemail from Pakhi while looking at her photo, and Babu ji overhears as well.

He inquires about Pakhi’s well-being. Bau ji reassures him that God will keep her safe, no matter where she is. Baa joins him and comforts him, as he envisions Pakhi’s return and stands up. Vanraj addresses her as his daughter, while everyone observes his hopeful delusion. Vanraj becomes disheartened upon realizing that she is merely a figment of his imagination. Meanwhile, Anupama waits in the living room and begins to doze off. She imagines Pakhi lying on her lap and exclaims that she has returned and queries about her whereabouts. She embraces her tightly, weeping uncontrollably, and reminds her not to leave without informing them. Pakhi sobs and promises to never leave her side again.

Anupama sobs, prompting Pakhi to invite her to rest on her lap. As Anupama lies down and dozes off, she pleads for Pakhi not to leave. However, upon waking up, she realizes Pakhi is gone and desperately asks where she went. In the meantime, Toshu weeps in his room while clutching the gift Pakhi gave him. Kinjal enters, notices his distress and wipes away his tears. Toshu confides in Kinjal that Pakhi trusted him to support her through all difficulties and protect her as a brother, but he failed to fulfill this role and did not respect their relationship as siblings. He expresses remorse for forgetting her feelings and apologizes.

Kinjal describes Bhabhi and Nanand’s relationship as a mix of both sweet and sour elements, but ultimately filled with love and care. Toshu inquires about Pakhi’s whereabouts. Kinjal assures him that they will definitely find her. Samar remembers how he used to play with Pakhi and she tells him that she is leaving and won’t return. He expresses his happiness at her departure and encourages her to leave. However, he soon realizes that this is all just his imagination. He calls out to Sweety to come back, pleading and crying. He promises to comply with her wishes and even overlook any cheating during their games together.

Anupama steps outside and calls out Pakhi’s name, urging her to come join her. Anuj arrives and inquires about her actions. Anupama explains that she believed Pakhi was present but she must have been playing hide and seek as per her usual routine. She insists that Pakhi must be around and steps out on the road to search for her. However, Anuj clarifies that Pakhi is not present and has gone missing. He assures her that they have already filed a complaint, and they will soon find Pakhi. But for now, she is nowhere to be found.

The inspector arrives and explains that he was on his way to the house but did not find anyone there. He then mentions that a girl was in an accident that morning, and her physical appearance resembled the daughter of the person he was looking for. Anupama quickly clarifies that the girl is not her daughter. Anuj asks for the name of the hospital where she is admitted. The doctor urges them to come see her as she is in critical condition. Anupama prays for the young girl and her family, expressing disbelief that it could be her “sweety”. She encourages him to go see the girl for himself and then he will understand. Anuj remembers what the inspector had told him earlier.
