Ram gets ready for his wedding. Kriti approaches him and insists on talking to him, but Shardul advises Ram to prioritize wearing the pagdi (turban) first. Everyone helps Ram with his pagdi and expresses their joy. Shalini, overcome with happiness, hugs Ram and takes him to her late husband’s picture. She assures Ram that she is at peace knowing that Priya will always be with him and will never leave him.
Shalini thanks Ram for finding such a wonderful girl and believes that he and Priya are a perfect match. Ram, deep in thought, believes that he is doing the right thing because Shalini’s happiness is his happiness. Ram receives a phone call and steps away to answer it.
Meanwhile, Kriti urgently requests Ram to come with her as she reveals that Shardul doesn’t like her and has created a controversy in front of the media, claiming that she is his girlfriend. She suggests cancelling the marriage. Ram reminds her that he had proposed to her five times before, but she rejected him and insisted on a contract marriage. Kriti confesses her love for Ram and expresses her willingness to break the contract and give up her dreams for him. She asks him to break off the marriage with Priya and inform his mother. However, Ram refuses, explaining that his mother has been waiting for this day for 30 years, and he cannot take away her dream. Kriti suggests talking to Shalini, believing that she will understand and be happy for them. Reluctantly, Ram agrees and takes Kriti to meet Shalini.
Excitedly, Shalini shows the jewellery she bought for Priya and expresses her happiness. Ram musters the courage to tell her the truth. He confesses that he doesn’t love Priya and that the marriage was a contract, but his true love is Kriti. Shalini becomes upset, faints in Ram’s imagination, and panics. In reality, Ram advises Shalini to take her medication and not exert herself. He tries to tell her the truth but stops himself, seeing how excited she is about his wedding and her dream finally coming true. Ram decides not to break her dream and promises to marry Priya as planned. He hides his feelings for Kriti, prioritizing his mother’s happiness over his own.
