The episode opens with Aradhana and Radhna playfully smearing cake on each other’s faces, accompanied by laughter. Soon, Beena joins them and a playful scuffle ensues, prompting them to ask for her help. However, Beena scolds them and suggests making a new cake instead. Aradhana agrees and mentions taking it to the Khannas. Meanwhile, Vikram calls Reyansh to ask about his well wishes for Aradhana. Reyansh assures him that Sunaina is handling everything. In turn, Vikram expresses concern over Viren’s disapproval of the story. Reyansh confidently reminds him it is his own creation and requests him to involve his wife in the matter before ending the call. Shortly after, Pooja calls Aradhana to extend her birthday wishes.
Aradhana recalls how they used to celebrate the entire birthday week and her parents, which makes her feel sad. Pooja reminds her to take care, to which Aradhana reciprocates the same sentiment. Their call ends shortly after. Bhakti then proceeds with the aarti and reflects on their past mistake of drifting apart from Aradhana. Pooja surprises everyone with a cake, urging them to cut it in honor of Aradhana’s birthday. Bhakti takes charge and cuts the cake while Pooja records a video to later show Aradhana. Jagruti joins in on the celebration by extending her well wishes. Upon seeing this through the video call, Aradhana becomes emotional and sheds tears. Malini instructs her daughters to accompany her somewhere but they decline.
Upon arriving home, Aradhana informs everyone that Vikram has sent a cake for Kimaya. However, Kriti and Komal begin to argue over something else entirely. As tensions rise, Malini intervenes and suggests they all go together to the orphanage. This prompts Aradhana to ask if they go there every year on this day. And without hesitation, Malini confirms and shares her personal reason for doing so – she had lost something dear to her on this very day. She then hands her baby over to Bhakti and urges her not to look back. Emotionally, she reveals that it was her first child who had passed away. Viren inquires about the “first baby”, assuming it was a human child, but Malini clarifies it was actually her first pet, a white pigeon. Understanding the significance behind Malini’s tradition of giving sweets and gifts to orphaned children, Viren remarks that charity starts at home and reminds Malini that Kimaya needs her too. Despite agreeing to come along, Malini’s daughter Sunaina and Vikram are preoccupied with decorating their office space for some upcoming event.
Reyansh praised their accomplishment, but asked his friend not to reveal that he was involved. Sunaina inquired about the status of their love story and reminded Reyansh about Viren’s request for them to stay away from it. However, Reyansh insisted on uncovering the truth. Viren explained that he couldn’t bear to see Kimaya in pain and wanted to protect his daughters from any further suffering. Malini suggested that time would heal Kimaya’s wounds and advised them to keep everything normal for now. But Viren pointed out that Malini’s own wound had yet to heal and she countered by saying she didn’t seek healing for herself, but rather went to pray for a pigeon at the temple, adding that they wouldn’t understand her belief. Aradhana offered to accompany Malini to the temple since she had a day off from work. Komal and Kriti expressed their gratitude towards Aradhana while Malini made a light-hearted joke before leaving with Aradhana.
She asks Reyansh to order Chinese for Aradhana, because she loves Chinese food. He asks Malini if she has thought about getting a new pigeon for Aradhana. Malini says no, I don’t have space. Aradhana says lucky are the orphanage kids, you give them time. Malini says it isn’t money. Viren says it is money. Viren is on call. He scolds Reyansh. He wants Aradhana to come with him. Malini says it’s okay, go with him. Viren and Malini arrive at the office. He asks where Vikram is.
It is a cabin, Sunaina says. Viren sees the news. He says he asked you not to run any stories about Anil Taneja; we can’t blame anyone based on speculation. We have proof, Reyansh says, I have told you I would run this channel, and I want creative freedom. This man is our biggest advertiser. Viren says you’ve hurt this company. He says I have proof. Viren says I am the owner of the company, and you’re just an employee. Reyansh says no one will say it is their channel. Viren explains.
He sees the decorations and assumes Reyansh remembered my birthday. He says I’ll leave from here. Viren gets angry. Everyone looks on. Sunaina says Viren wants someone else to replace Vikram; you are familiar with the work, you are not crazy, so get to work. Viren asks Sunaina to do damage control. Aradhana asks what happened, if Reyansh aired the story without verifying it.
As Vikram says, if he leaves, I will have to go. Aradhana thinks I wanted Reyansh to go back, why am I feeling bad, it’s okay if he goes, let him go. Reyansh believes that I came to return everything to you that you had lost due to me. He leaves. Aradhana checks the story and believes Reyansh didn’t make a mistake, Viren blamed him and fired him.
