The episode begins with Satya announcing an unexpected visitor to the house. Arya immediately assumes it’s Ankush but questions why he would return. She quickly calls Jaanrao and discusses their father’s actions, concluding that they need to investigate the contents of his bag. Before she can continue, Tanmay interrupts her by calling out her name. She apologizes, and he acknowledges his previous knowledge of her being sent to a remand home. He confesses that he never dared to stand up to their father but realizes that his behaviour was cowardly and selfish. He notes the importance of upbringing in shaping one’s character.
Satya made some mistakes, but I’m glad you were able to do what I couldn’t. Ankush Kaka was brave, and I should have looked up to him as a role model. He used to stand up to Satya, but even he passed away. I’m still the same: afraid, selfish, and incomplete. I’m still scared of my dad, but now you’ve come along to challenge Satya. Don’t back down now.” He walks away. Arya sympathises with him and says, “I promise to protect you and Zai as your sister.” Meanwhile, Satya and Kasturi speak to the media about Kasturi’s chances of winning.
Yug inquires, “Did you find anything?” Satya responds affirmatively, while Sonia praises Tanmay for staying away from alcohol. Tanmay expresses gratitude to her. Suddenly, the police arrive with a search warrant. Gaikwad informs them about the tip-off regarding drugs being present in the house. Satya and Kasturi remain seated as Gaikwad begins the search. Kasturi vouches for Tanmay’s innocence with a shake of her head, while Arya does the same. However, Gaikwad discovers a bag containing drugs and declares that there is no way to save Tanmay from going to jail now. Shocked, Tanmay vehemently denies owning the drugs, while Arya realizes that their father must be responsible for this situation.
Kasturi enlists Satya’s help to assist Tanmay. Unfortunately, the media is unfairly tarnishing both Tanmay and Satya’s reputations. Arya contacts someone, and Yug questions her actions, sensing her stress. Arya defends herself, stating that she did what she believed was necessary for the mission. However, Yug accuses her of framing Tanmay, who bullied them in their childhood, an act that he deems illegal. She reveals that Ankush encouraged her to take this course of action. Yug reassures her that this is not something she would do on her own accord; instead, it seems her target is Satya, not Tanmay. Despite his pleas for an explanation, she refuses to clarify her actions as she wonders why her father would ask this of her. Meanwhile, Ankush sees the news of Tanmay’s arrest, and Arya visits him soon afterward. He pleads with her not to ask about Tanmay and expresses his desire for her to return to being his loving daughter again because he does not know how to handle their strained relationship.
