She confronts Yashwant for lying about Savi’s family. Savi’s wealthy and reputed family would have attended Savi’s reception so that everyone would have met them. Reeva asks her to stop. Swati tells her she wants to meet Savi’s family. Yashwant asks what’s wrong if Savi’s family did not attend.
Swati claims Savi doesn’t have a family at all. Yashwant asks if he is lying. Swati asks him to prove that she is lying since he seems to be a habitual liar. Reeva warns her to stop lying because Savi is a student, and the Bhosale family’s daughters-in-law do not work outside. According to Swati, Savi is a poor girl who works in a cafe.
Swati inquires about the reason behind Ishaan’s marriage to a waitress instead of the well-educated Reeva. With an aggravated tone, Yashwant tells her to stop fabricating stories since his daughter-in-law is not employed. Swati then requests Tatya to show the same video he had shown his wife earlier. Savi is taken aback upon seeing Tatya and prompts him to show the video. However, Tatya denies having any such video and feigns ignorance. Swati remarks that all of Pune’s liars are present under one roof today. Yashwant accuses Swati of attempting to defame them simply because Reeva was not married off to Ishaan. Swati asks Savi to reveal the truth, while Surekha encourages her to come clean.
Savi admits to working as a waitress in a cafe, much to everyone’s surprise. Surekha accuses her of lying, but Savi maintains that it is true. The reporter smirked and commented on the Bhosale family’s daughter-in-law being a cafe waitress, finding it fascinating. Anvi disapproves of Durva, believing that Savi should have considered their family’s reputation. Durva adds that just like a dog can’t handle ghee, Savi cannot escape her lower-class mindset and will eventually be kicked out of their house. Savi clarified that she had intended to inform them about her job. Yashwant suggests discussing this matter later and enjoying the party for now.
The minister’s wife asks Savi why she works at a cafe. Durva’s friend asks if it is because her scholarship has been cancelled. The minister asks Savi if she is working at a café to pay her fees, as her scholarship has been cancelled. He asks Yashwant why he cancelled his daughter-in-law’s scholarship. Nishi says dinner is ready, so let’s have dinner first. Yashwant says he just followed college rules.

Ishaan is asked if he knows that his wife works as a waitress. Ishaan says it’s their issue. The reporter says it is not personal that a girl must work hiding to pay for her studies. A reporter asks the minister whether he supports this ideology. The minister condemns such ideologies and is shocked that he would stay in a play like this for even a second, even though Bhosales pleads for him to stop.
After Savi confronts the journalist for twisting the facts without listening to her, Yashwant stops her and asks everyone to leave since the party is over. The guests leave. Swati tells Ishaan that he deserves a wife like Savi who does not care about his family’s reputation, and Surekha deserves a daughter-in-law who comes from a cheap and mannerless family. She is warned that speaking about herself or her family is not permitted.
