Satya follows Sai’s suggestion and tries Mango Mastani. After tasting it, he comments that it’s delicious. Satya’s family members are taken aback and surprised as it is the first time he eats Mango Mastani after Girija’s death. They believe Satya will move Sai. As Amba eats Mango Mastani and feels happy, she says Bhavani cursed Satya and Sai’s relationship won’t last long and I will make them live happily together.
Vinu is despondent, clutching Paakhi’s photograph and unable to be consoled by Karishma or any other family member. They tried to tempt Vinu with his favourite food to no avail as he steadfastly refused it. Satya had managed to put Saavi to sleep with a bedtime story – the first time she had not heard Sai’s voice lulling her off to slumber. Amba surprised Sai with a gift for her Pehli rasoi, suggesting they take Saavi away. Satya vetoed the suggestion and insisted that Saavi should remain where she was, given they were still newlyweds. They embraced the light-hearted teasing as part of their lives together as a family.
He calls Sai and informs her that his mother has left him. He expresses his disappointment, stating that Sai had promised not to let his family fall apart, but it happened anyway. Satya requests Sai to meet him. Sai agrees and says she will come. Satya offers to drive her, and they leave together. Amba tries to stop them, but they ignore her and leave. Taji suggests letting them live their lives.
Satya drops Sai off at her destination. He offers to accompany her inside, but Sai declines the offer, asserting that she can manage on her own. She asks him to return home. Virat and Mohit return home and reveal to everyone that Paakhi has disappeared. Ninad asks why Paakhi left the home suddenly. Ashwini asks what Virat said to Paakhi. Virat says I asked Paakhi to leave me alone in my inebriated state, and I do not know if she will leave the house. They hear a call bell.
Ashwini urges him to open the door, suggesting that it could be Paakhi. Virat complies and opens the door. Sai explains that she came to meet Vinu since he called her, but Virat doesn’t allow her to enter the house and orders her to leave. Sai insists that Vinu needs her at this moment. Ashwini interjects, asking Virat to let Sai enter, but he refuses and attempts to close the door. Undeterred, Sai asserts that she won’t leave until she meets Vinu. Just then, Doctor Aunty arrives at the house, and Sai seizes the opportunity to enter the house.
Sai returns home. Gauri and Maddy tease him and ask where he is. Satya says Sai will be staying at Chavan’s house since his mother left him. Amba does not like this and creates a scene about it. She requests Satya to explain to Sai that they should consider leaving Nagpur if she frequently visits Chavan’s Nivas.
Sai asks Vinu how his mother can leave him. Sai asks him to eat food. Vinu says he cannot eat until his mother returns. Sai says your mother is angry and Paakhi will be back once her anger has subsided since she cannot keep away from you long. Sai says that she is certain and convinces Vinu to eat food. Vinu asks Sai to find his mother and bring her to him. Sai agrees. Virat and his family members see Sai feeding Vinu.
