Ishaan informs Savi of a neighboring room with a bed where he plans to sleep. Curious, Savi questions the whereabouts of this room. Ishaan pulls back a curtain to reveal his study room and playfully asks if he’s like Batman, hiding a secret lair. Jokingly, he adds that he brings enemies into this room to dispose of them but quickly clarifies that it was all in jest and that he’ll sleep on the recliner instead. As she closes the door, Ishaan reminds her not to lock it as it can be opened outside. He assures her that if he needs to leave at any point, he will knock for her attention. Savi then settles onto the bed.
He believes she is out of his sight and adjusts the recliner. However, she catches his attention. He feigns sleep while she turns away. Once he relaxes, she notices him adjusting the recliner again. She approaches him and asks if he moved the bed closer to keep an eye on her. He pretends to snore, then suddenly wakes up and questions why she entered without knocking. She points out that he purposely moved the recliner to monitor her. He urges her to stop always putting herself first and go to bed. Their playful argument persists.
Durva begs Asmita to serve her breakfast the next morning. Asmita present her sabudana vada. Durva notes she won’t eat oily meals. Asmita, in broken English, asks her to stop having tantrums or trimming. Durva says she can accept her poor English but not awful food, criticizes her, tosses food in the garbage, and wants her to make oats and smoothies for her; Savi approaches Durva for misbehaving with her mother and urges her to make her food rather than disparaging Annapurna.
Durva exclaims if an uncultured girl will teach her manners, she will misbehave with her mother, and it is not of Savi’s business. Walking in to encourage Durva, Surekha asks Savi if an outsider and visitor would teach the daughter of this family manners. Savi thinks the same visitor has right to offer moral lessons to a lazy daughter when Surekha is making her guest complete housework and uphold family honour.
Durva tells Surekha that she doesn’t have to listen to anybody, as her mother will bring her food as usual. Asmita asks Durva to go to her room so that she can bring her ordered breakfast there.
As Reeva approaches Ishaan’s cabin at college, she sees two students celebrating Valentine’s Day. Walking into Ishaan’s cabin, she asks if he has called her. He says yes, and he offers her coffee. She says it’s her favorite coffee since today. He tells her he needs a favor from her. Asmita prepares Durva’s breakfast, weeping. Savi asks her to make a smoothie. Asmita says she should leave it as Durva may not enjoy it.
Savi asks her to prepare vada for her while she prepares a smoothie. Asmita agrees. Savi prepares a smoothie. Asmita sends Durva’s breakfast to Savi via servant and offers vada to Savi. Savi recalls Sai offering her vada as a child. Asmita asks if the vada does not look good, she will prepare another one.
As Savi stops her, she says she reminds her of her mother, who used to make her hot vada, and that she can pay anything to experience her mother’s affection. Asmita says it’s strange that a daughter who has a mother is insulting her mother, while another daughter who doesn’t have a mother is depriving for her mother. She says she can be her aunt at least and hugs her deeply.

After breaking his house’s rule and leaving without permission, Ishaan scolds Savi. When Ishaan says he will teach her every night, Savi agrees. She goes to bring tea for Ishaan while studying, only to see Reeva already serving him coffee.
