The episode begins with Anuradha performing aarti for Appu. She invites Kajal to stay back and have a meal, but Kajal refuses, stating she feels sleepy and has school the next day. Anuradha suggests she take two days off, while Lalon encourages her to enjoy the moment. Kajal insists that her work is her priority. Lalon teases her about her serious attitude. Meanwhile, Appu walks inside as Jhimli asks Lalon to hand over some money before coming in. Lalon hesitates but eventually agrees to give 2500 rupees instead of the requested 5000. However, Appu insists they should receive the full amount, and Lalon complies. She then tells them to enjoy the celebration. Kajal, meanwhile, prepares to leave, but Anuradha reminds her that some rituals remain.

A guest suggests that Lalon and Appu should sing, and Anuradha mentions that more relatives are expected. Appu, feeling tired, expresses her wish to sleep, but Anuradha insists that she participate in a few more traditions. Kajal intervenes, explaining that the bride’s family stays up while the groom’s family rests. Lalon insists he isn’t sleepy and lets Appu rest. Anuradha invites everyone to have food at her home, and a guest compliments Appu’s appearance while mentioning rumors about her health. Lalon defends Appu, stating that although her family doubts her well-being, she has a pure heart. Kajal teases him about his devotion to Appu. Lalon, undeterred, praises Appu, saying he chose her for her sincerity and kindness.

Anuradha instructs Jhimli to distribute sweets, and Appu eagerly offers them to everyone. Lalon reassures Appu about adjusting to her new home, and she expresses her confidence in settling in comfortably. Anuradha blesses her, and Kajal again attempts to leave. However, Anuradha insists she stay for the meal. Lalon agrees, emphasizing that Kajal cannot leave without eating. Appu, noticing Kajal’s reluctance, asks her to stay in her house. When Kajal resists, Appu insists that she must listen to her. Eventually, Kajal relents, agreeing to have food. Appu beams with joy and declares Kajal as her “Kajal didi” from now on, requesting her to share stories and poems.

The next morning, Anuradha warmly welcomes Chhoton and Jhanak. Jhanak announces her departure for Mumbai and mentions her busy schedule. Chhoton clarifies that Jhanak is leaving for work. Lalon reminds her of their invitation to Mumbai and expresses interest in visiting with Appu. Jhanak encourages them to come. She then advises Lalon to investigate those who attempted to frame him, but he remains indifferent, prioritizing his job. Chhoton offers to help, emphasizing that the commissioner saved Lalon in time. Anuradha credits Lalon’s father’s good deeds for their timely support and promises to find the culprits. However, Lalon dismisses the issue for now.

Meanwhile, Appu is getting ready, and Anuradha reveals that Kajal woke her up. Chhoton comments that Appu could be influenced if needed, but Anuradha firmly states she does not want to change Appu’s pure-hearted nature. Chhoton reminds Jhanak that she needs to meet Appu before leaving. Just then, Anirudh arrives with Mrinalini. Jhanak greets Mrinalini warmly and teases her about Chhoton. Mrinalini defends herself, saying she cares about everyone. She inquires about Appu, who soon appears, asking if she looks good. Appu embraces Chhoton and the others. Anirudh hands her a chocolate, and Appu questions Mrinalini about her absence at the wedding. Mrinalini apologizes and hugs her. Kajal urges Appu to be happy as her family is present. However, Appu confesses she was upset because she did not see her mother’s face in the morning, assuming her mother would also be sad. Chhoton reassures her that her mother will visit soon.

Anuradha informs them that Meghla and Adrija will arrive later, as Meghla’s father was Pranay’s friend. When they arrive, Lalon recalls Meghla’s beautiful singing. Anuradha introduces Appu’s family to Meghla and Adrija. Meghla thinks Jhanak looks familiar, and Appu informs her that Jhanak appears on television. Meghla recognizes her from an advertisement. Adrija asks about a dance competition, recalling that Jhanak did not win. Jhanak remembers the contest and acknowledges her defeat to Arshi. She quickly moves past the topic and requests Meghla to sing. Meghla agrees on the condition that Jhanak performs a dance alongside her. Jhanak happily accepts.
