The episode opens with the man attacking Anjali. Adi meets Anubha and inquires if anything happened, having seen Shubh outside. She assures him that there is nothing to worry about. He acknowledges that it’s her matter but expresses concern about the engagement being called off, apologizing for bringing it up. She reminds him that it’s a personal issue, and he agrees, saying that he’s happy regardless. He suggests she distance herself from Shubh and lets her know that he will eventually give up on his own accord. He then takes his leave, leaving Anubha feeling down. Mayank prepares tea for Rajeev and tells him how their mother wanted to do something for herself but was not supported by him, urging him to give her a chance to pursue a job.
Rajeev informs that she cannot take the exam due to her age and suggests finishing the tea before leaving for the shop. Anubha then steps out and embraces Shubh while Adi witnesses with a smile. He then contacts Kavya to share his successful completion of a task. Kavya praises his skills and ends the conversation, placing her phone on the bed. Meanwhile, Anjali secretly calls Kavya and Rajeev, but they miss her call as they hurry to leave. Anjali quickly leaves as Mayank approaches Rajeev and reminds him of their impending departure. Rajeev finally receives Anjali’s call and urges her to hurry up as they are running late. They all depart together.
Anjali makes another call to Kavya while the man apprehends her. Taking note of this, Malini invites Kavya over. The man demands to know how long she plans to keep hiding. He proceeds to reprimand her. Upon hearing about the situation from Anjali, Kavya urges her to hurry and promises to help as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, Kavya also contacts Adi and briefs him about Anjali’s predicament. Adi assures her he will be there in half an hour and advises her to remain calm. However, Kavya’s concern for her mother makes her threaten to call the police if any harm comes her way. She rushes towards the building where Anjali is trapped. The man confronts Anjali and taunts her about what she can do now. In response, Kavya intervenes and appeals to him, acknowledging that he has been wronged but clarifying that it was not her mother’s fault since the cheque had her name on it.
When Adi calls Kavya, she asks if her mother is okay. She says that he can’t be trusted. He says don’t do anything, I’m coming. He asks the driver to speed up. She says, “Please return my money.” She says I won’t come in your words, Kavya replies. He asks what proof you have, come and show. She sees the stairs. She says let my mumma go, I’ll give you proof. He shoots at Anjali. She shouts no….
Anjali checks herself and says, “I’m coming upstairs.” She calls out to him, “Give the phone to Anjali.” She pleads, “Listen to me. You’ll go to jail if anything happens to my mom.” As she heads upstairs, she feels tired. He demands she hurry. She begs, “Don’t do anything to my mom. You still have time to stop this.”
The man insists, “I gave the cheque in Anjali’s name. I sold my village land and mortgaged my house for a government job. Either give me the job or return my money.” Kavya arrives and declares, “You won’t get the job.” Anjali runs to her.
Kavya points out that obtaining a government job through bribery is not viable. Anjali reminds Kavya that it was his own decision to spend 20 lakhs. She urges him not to shift blame onto others and acknowledges that his desire for a peaceful life led him down the wrong path. Kavya defends himself, stating that corruption exists everywhere. Anjali argues that giving bribes also corruptes him. She advises him to use his qualifications, such as his B.Ed degree, to pass exams and secure employment. She promises to return the money so he can purchase a house and start a business and advises him to save for the future with the remaining funds. However, Kavya’s anger causes him to demand his money before acting.
