The Episode begins with Kavya admitting her love for Adi. She feels responsible for his presence at the scene and decides to take the blame and go to jail. Sangram remarks that they can witness Adi going to the witness’ room. Amanpreet warns Kavya that not only will she lose her job, but even she won’t be able to save Adi’s career. Feeling torn, Kavya asks if she should let Adi take the fall for her. Amanpreet reminds her that Ashish was killed and questions why Adi was there and how he gained access. Kavya explains that he had come to see her. Amanpreet points out that the police will discover this and no one will be able to save Adi. Sangram interjects, commenting on Kavya’s lack of experience, before leaving the conversation.
If Kavya had asked for my hand in marriage when he came to meet me, I would have accepted without hesitation. With tears in her eyes, she declares that love can break down any barriers. Adi’s face flashes through her mind. Kavya insists on saving Adi from being wrongfully accused and punished, reminding everyone of his past sacrifices for her. She refuses to be dissuaded and urges someone to call the police to arrest her instead. Amanpreet cautions her to remain calm as their entire department will come under investigation. However, Kavya is determined to clear Adi’s name and insists on going to the police herself. Amanpreet gives in and allows her to go, but warns her that the department will not provide any support or closure on this case.
Then Anjali asks Rajeev to sit down. Rajeev tells her this is a police case, that Adi is to blame for it. Mayank says not to blame Adi for this. Rajeev says yes, don’t keep any hope from children. Mayank says we can have hope from you. Amanpreet says you are an IAS trainee, so try to balance work and life. She encourages Kavya.
Go and talk to the press, give an official statement, keep emotions aside, she says. Giriraj calls Kavya and says Adi will get troubled in jail. She ends the call. She washes her face. She goes out and talks to the reporters. They ask about Adi. They say we have the video footage. Kavya recalls what Adi said.
We did not pay attention to the time of the CCTV footage, Kavya says. Sangram says he has checked, Adi went there. She says yes, Adi said he had shown Malini the ring. How can he get there so quickly? Someone has changed the video footage, I have to see it again. She goes to the hospital. She scolds the man for tampering the CCTV footage. She says you will be jailed, I am an IAS officer, and I will issue a warrant. The man is worried and shows her the footage.
Kavya spots a ward boy heading towards Ashish and her smile widens as she successfully retrieves the footage onto the pendrive. However, her actions are soon questioned by the man, who reminds her that she is not authorized to do so. Undeterred, Kavya stands her ground as Giriraj reaches out to her. She confidently declares that she has an hour left to find proof that will acquit Adi and rejects Giriraj’s assistance with a hint of sarcasm. Meanwhile, Adi wonders about Kavya’s whereabouts and shortly after, she arrives at the police station. The journalists waste no time in questioning her about her connection with Adi, while Kajri accuses him of wrongdoing. Standing firm in her belief, Kavya assures that justice will be served for the real culprit. Coincidentally, Giriraj appears at the scene once again.
He beckons Kavya to halt her movements and proceed at a slower pace. Requesting her to present evidence, she plays the recording which asserts Adi’s absence during Ashish’s murder. However, upon inspecting the pendrive, she is unable to locate the video. Giriraj and Omi exchange a knowing smile while Kavya denies the possibility of misplacement. He suggests that perhaps someone manipulated the evidence before dismissing her concerns about leaving her bag unattended. In hindsight, he recalls swapping the pendrive and speculates it could have been done in the midst of the chaotic crowd. Yet, she firmly stands her ground rejecting any external interference. Realization dawns as they spot the ward boy nearby, confirming their suspicions. Shocked by this revelation, Kavya stands speechless.
