RV suggests moving aside so he can continue on his way. Poorvi agrees and steps back. As he spots her in the path of a passing biker, he quickly pulls her towards him. She falls into his arms and holds on. Diya witnesses this and smiles, removing any negative thoughts from their encounter. As they part ways, RV reminds Poorvi to take care of herself. He glances at her through his car mirror as he drives off. Ranbir’s driver interrupts their exchange by offering him lunch, which he politely refuses. The driver insists on bringing it along for better digestion, as it includes spicy buttermilk as well.
Ranbir mentions that he is currently exerting his authority in one place, while Poorvi does the same elsewhere. He contemplates reaching out to Poorvi’s mother once more and gives her a call. After exchanging greetings, Ranbir inquires if Prachi can hear him clearly. Prachi responds affirmatively. Ranbir proceeds to share his thoughts about Ashutosh, whom he recently met and found unsuitable for Poorvi. Prachi reminds Sheela ji that Poorvi is also her daughter and questions how she can speak about her in such a manner. She suggests discussing further when they meet in person at their destination. Confused by the exchange, Ranbir double-checks the number and apologizes for dialing the wrong person. Prachi promptly ends the call as well. The driver beckons Ranbir to hurry up due to heavy traffic in Mumbai. Upon arriving home, RV overhears the watchman conversing with Poornima about something related to Poorvi. RV asks the watchman what was going on between them earlier. The watchman clarifies that he was speaking with his wife, Poornima. Curious about why her name came up, RV instructs him to talk to her for a bit longer
As Diya and Poorvi ride in the auto, it hits a stone on the road. Concerned, Poorvi asks the driver to be more cautious, as she cannot risk getting into trouble while RV is occupied. Confused, Diya inquires about RV’s circumstances. Poorvi explains that he had mentioned being tied up with other commitments and unable to come to her aid. She admits that RV has always been there for her in times of need. Diya jokingly suggests that Poorvi may be getting romantically drawn towards RV, but Poorvi dismisses this notion and clarifies that she was simply reminded of him because of his prior declaration. Curious, Diya asks what led Poorvi to think of RV at that moment, leaving Poorvi deep in thought.
As RV ponders the reason for thinking about Poorvi, he realizes that he is at the office for the Ajmera project. In a concerned tone, Diya reminds Poorvi to be truthful with herself. To this, Poorvi responds that she is now engaged and has no intention of entertaining thoughts about anyone else. The song “Apna banale” starts playing in the background. After a while, Poorvi prompts Diya to speak up. Curious, Diya asks what she wants to know. Knowing exactly what Diya is thinking, Poorvi encourages her to ask. Diya then expresses her doubts about Poorvi’s decision to marry Ashutosh – wondering if she ever sees his flaws and if he truly deserves her. Vishaka chimes in, mentioning that Diya is also involved and brings up the concern of who will marry Poorvi if the alliance breaks.
