Kumkum Bhagya 19th December 2024 Written Episode Update begins with Jassi telling Poorvi that it hurts him to see her like this, yet he claims he is helpless. He questions how she can like RV so much and insists that if anyone truly loves her, it is him, not RV. Jassi says he tried repeatedly to make her understand but she never listened. He boasts about changing his appearance many times for her and says she belongs to him just as he belongs to her. He acts emotional and says he feels like crying when she looks at him with anger. He insists she will eventually realise who truly loves her and will one day fall for him. Jassi then says he is going downstairs to witness RV and Nethra’s wedding.
Meanwhile, Diya calls Khushi urgently and informs her that Poorvi is in trouble because RV is being forced to marry Nethra. She explains that Poorvi had doubts about Nethra’s intentions. They wanted to prove that Nethra was marrying for money, but her boyfriend died, and now she is trying to trap RV to secure her future. Khushi says RV is still legally married to Poorvi. Diya clarifies that RV and Poorvi divorced each other for the sake of this marriage arrangement. Khushi is shocked and says she had advised Poorvi not to trust anyone blindly. Diya says Monisha sat on the mandap earlier and now Poorvi is missing. Khushi concludes that Poorvi has been kidnapped and is inside the same house.
At the mandap, Pandit ji asks Nethra to cover her face with a veil. She refuses at first, saying the real bride is here, but Pandit ji insists for astrological reasons. Nethra reluctantly covers her face. Jassi approaches a reporter and asks him to click photos so that tomorrow’s headline shows RV and Nethra getting married.
Khushi rushes into the venue and orders everyone to stop the wedding. She questions how RV could agree to marry. RV tries to explain, but Khushi stops him and says they will talk later. Pandit ji asks the couple to stand up for the rounds. Khushi tells Diya they need to check RV and Poorvi’s room. Diya says the room is always open because RV and Poorvi’s relationship is not that of a typical husband and wife, as they are giving each other time. Khushi insists they search elsewhere and soon they find Monisha holding Poorvi captive.
As RV and Nethra take the rounds, he worries about Poorvi and Monisha’s absence. Pandit ji instructs Nethra to come forward for the fifth round. Meanwhile, Harman, Dadu and Dadi rush in, saying they need to stop this wedding.
Nethra removes her veil and proudly says the wedding is almost complete as six rounds are done. Vaishali tells her nothing is final yet. Nethra confidently declares she will become the daughter in law after one more round. Harleen scolds her for her tone and asks Deepika where Monisha is.
Monisha tells Poorvi that she never wanted RV to marry Nethra. She says that neither Poorvi nor Nethra deserve him. According to her, she and RV are the perfect match and Poorvi came between them. She says if Nethra had not interfered, RV would have married her today. Monisha claims that after both Poorvi and Nethra are out of the way, she will become RV’s final wife. Poorvi frees her hands, removes the tape from her mouth, and declares that RV is her kumkum Bhagya, and he will always be her husband. She hits Monisha with a vase and runs out. Monisha chases her.
Jassi blocks Monisha and asks what is happening. Monisha says Poorvi escaped. Jassi gets mesmerised and says Poorvi wins his heart daily. Monisha panics and says Poorvi will stop the wedding. She orders him to stop her. Jassi runs after Poorvi. Khushi and Diya spot him. Khushi hits him with a stick, telling him he will never change. He tricks them and runs away.
Meanwhile, Monisha catches Poorvi again and grabs her phone. Poorvi says it is her phone and asks why she cares. Monisha breaks a vase, pushes Poorvi and grabs her hand mockingly, pretending to help. She snatches the phone, accusing Poorvi of hiding something. Poorvi manages to get her phone back and says she feels Monisha is involved with Nethra and Jassi. Monisha denies it. Poorvi says she cannot waste any more time and leaves. Monisha realises Poorvi is clever and vows not to let her stop the wedding. She says if RV marries Nethra, she will take him back later.
Khushi warns Jassi to stay away and says she knows he is involved in the planning. She demands he apologise to Poorvi and RV. Jassi excuses himself and runs.
At the mandap, Pandit ji explains the meaning of the final round. Nethra interrupts and says times have changed and she and RV will face all troubles together. She says this wedding will set an example. She asks RV to come for the last round and says after this he will have to look at her forever.
Monisha grabs Poorvi’s leg to stop her from reaching the mandap. Poorvi pushes her away and says she will stop the wedding no matter what. Monisha holds her hands tightly. Poorvi ties Monisha’s hands with tape and secures them to a table. She says she did not want to do this but Monisha forced her. Poorvi rushes out while Monisha struggles.
Precap: Poorvi tells Nethra that this marriage will not happen. She says Nethra lied about RV molesting her. The reporter asks how she will prove it. Poorvi says she has proof on her phone. Nethra looks on with a suspicious expression.
