The episode begins with Prachi requesting Akshay to meet with her once before making a decision. She believes her intuition is telling her that he will be good for her. Akshay criticizes her for not knowing what she wants in life. Prachi accuses him of speaking like a possessive brother. Mihika intervenes and asks Akshay to behave nicely with the person they are waiting for. Akshay retorts that his behaviour depends on how the person is. Mihika threatens to harm herself if Akshay treats the person poorly. Akshay expresses his frustration, arguing that the person is already so important in Mihika’s life even though he hasn’t even entered her life yet and that Mihika didn’t think about their feelings. Prachi urges them to remain quiet and wait until the person arrives. Mihika suggests that they all get ready and prepare the decorations. They complete the decorations and get ready for the event.
The guests admire the decorations and complement Ashok. Ashok mentions that the prospective groom is on his way. Akshay comments that Mihika will make everything grand and they won’t have a choice but to accept it. Abhay adds that Mihika has made all the decisions and is just pretending to give them rights. Divya remarks that Mihika wants to ensure they won’t complain. Neha explains that Mihika wants to be able to say that she made the decision with her family’s consent. Mihika enters the scene with Manpreet and instructs them to speak ill of her to her face. Ashok proudly announces the arrival of his daughter, and Abhay declares that she is their strength. Manpreet threatens anyone who speaks ill of her daughter. Prachi arrives and greets the guests. Akshay takes her hand and leads her to dance.
They start dancing, but it turns out to be Akshay’s imagination. Vishaka advises him to approach Prachi. Akshay claims he can’t do anything in front of her. Vishaka offers to teach him about love and tells him that a woman’s love begins with sweet words. She urges him to praise Prachi and win her trust to become her real husband, not just on paper. Prachi approaches them and asks what’s going on. Akshay denies anything and asks if she wants to hear something. He tells her that people suggest praising someone when you like them. He expresses his desire to praise her beauty, but Prachi responds by saying that she believes beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. Akshay questions why, when they both are good people, she can’t love him. Prachi becomes sad, and he asks her to forget what he said. Drummers and dancers arrive.
Ashok informs Mihika that the drummers have arrived and all the preparations are complete, but asks when the guy will come. Mihika explains that he is stuck in traffic. Worried, she calls his phone. Ashok dances with Manpreet, which upsets Vishaka. Abhay asks Vishaka if his son-in-law will be coming. Vishaka points out that everyone is busy dancing, but Abhay insists she joins in. Vishaka refuses. A lady comments that the same thing will happen as last time, but this time everything will be fine. She asks where the restroom is, and Vishaka guides her there. Neha and Divya tease Mihika, asking if she’s staring at Jaan’s photo. Akshay realizes that his fear has come true and goes to Mihika.
Manpreet enters the room, and the lady mentions they should hurry. Manpreet says the guy hasn’t arrived yet. The lady recalls the previous incident when Mihika invited them to meet the groom, but he didn’t show up, causing Ashok to have a heart attack. She questions if everything is fine with Mihika. Mihika overhears their conversation and becomes worried. Manpreet praises her daughter, saying she doesn’t have any problems with her. Vishaka asks why they came if they have so many issues because of them. The ladies explain that they came to share their happiness and see the groom. Akshay asks Mihika if she’s worried that history is repeating itself and accuses her of ignoring him.
Mihika is troubled, and Akshay suggests they go and sort things out. Mihika insists that the new guy is different and a true gentleman. Akshay argues that he’s doing the same things as the previous guy and tells her to stop liking him. Mihika questions why he doubts her choice, and Akshay confesses that he loves her as a brother and knows the potential consequences. He asks her not to force him to say something bad. Mihika urges him to speak up and asks when he said all these things. Akshay claims it’s happening again, and Mihika questions if she shouldn’t love anyone.
Akshay warns her that her father may not be able to handle another heart attack. Mihika insists that the new guy will come because he loves her. Akshay disagrees, believing that she will only get hurt, and tells her to look at him. Prachi arrives and tells Akshay that’s enough. Mihika embraces Prachi, and she assures them they will figure out the problem. Mihika reveals she has the guy’s address and decides to go and bring him. Akshay agrees, and Mihika leaves. Prachi advises Akshay not to trouble Mihika. Akshay mentions that Prachi doesn’t know what happened because of Mihika. Mihika sits in her car and vows to ensure that nothing goes wrong like before and that everything will be fine. However, she accidentally hits a motorcyclist, who turns out to be Ranbir.
