Naaz shows her identity card to prove it to Sumeet. They both wish for peace and love between their nations when Sumeet pretends she’s her younger sister.
While wandering around, Naaz notices someone whispering to Nandi’s idol and asks Sumeet about it. She admits to taking candid photos secretly. It is often the case that wishes made to Nandi come true, and she daydreams of dancing with Shlok soon. On the other hand, Naaz imagines a romantic dance with Adil and wishes that Adil loves her as much as she does.
When Sumeet and Naaz accidentally bump into each other, their lockets get tangled up. Sumeet recommends that Naaz open her locket to untangle them, but Naaz declines, as it holds sentimental value as a gift from her fiancé. In turn, Naaz suggests that Sumeet remove her necklace. However, Sumeet refuses, explaining that it is a mangalsutra, traditionally given by husbands to wives during marriage. This sparks a friendly debate and challenge between Sumeet and Naaz.
The granddad of Naaz asks Shlok how he knows the song’s lyrics, as he overhears him singing a song and assists him in completing the lyrics. Shlok’s sweet voice impresses the granddad who lives in the US, who asks how he knows the song’s lyrics. He mentions that if you truly want to know something, no boundaries will stop you. The granddad wants to visit India again to see his childhood home and old streets.
They also discuss a friend who has fallen in love with an Indian girl and wishes to cross the border to marry her. The grandfather recommends meeting Kafur, who can help. Shlok encourages him to fulfil his wish, suggesting he go secretly. Upon returning from helping his friend, Shlok promises to sing for his granddad once he keeps this conversation secret.
When Sumeet and her bandmates arrive at the event, she hopes Shlok will come after seeing the posters, but unfortunately, someone else arrives. Disheartened, she wonders how Shlok missed them. Bilawal arrives and taunts Sumeet by falsely claiming Shlok has been arrested. Sumeet replies that Shlok has been arrested and I have to get him out of jail. As he watches Sumeet leave the event in distress, he smirks.
