Written Episode, Written Update for 26th March 2023
Jalebi and Imarti rush in. Imarti says Sarkar, I brought Jalebi back, she doesn’t love him, but he does, let’s get you two married. Sarkar remembers meeting Manmeet and Imrati together. Imrati gets in Panditji as well. Sarkar asks the Pandit to start the wedding rituals and says with Jashoda. Jalebi and Imarti are in a state of shock.
Jashoda is excited and Manmeet says, Maa, he said he wanted to marry you. Imarti says, but Jalebi is here. Sarkar says he is doing all this for Manmeet because he was separated from his parents’ love for so long and now he does not want to see him cry because he cannot get their love. He asks everyone to be happy and make Jashoda ready for the wedding. Maaji will be the most beautiful bride, Gunvanti says today I will help her get ready.
As Manmeet hugs Sarkar and thanks him, he tells Meet, “Bapu Sarkar, you and Maa are my life.” He says to Meet, “I love you and Maa so much!” Sarkar says I thought I would never be able to fill the gap between us and now I know I can, and no one can take you away from me. Go get freshened up and you’ll get us married.” Sarkar looks at Meet and leaves. Meet smiles at Manmeet and looks at him.
Mahender is about to talk to Sarkar in his room when Meet walks in and says I am alive and I know that you two must be furious after losing, here’s some cold buttermilk, and nobody can kill me until God wishes. Someone helped me, and Sarkar tells Mahender to pay more money to goons like these, and leaves. According to Sarkar, Manmeet saved you and now she will be destroyed by Manmeet.
As they did before, Manmeet asks Gunvanti to make kheer for Jashoda to feed Bapu Sarkar. Gunvanti says everyone is busy so we’ll have it tomorrow. Meet walks to Manmeet with Kheer and says even I know Jashoda gives Sarkar Kheer on every occasion. When Manmeet thanks Meet, he says he’s going to make some mehendi, so I don’t have this and leaves. Sarkar has asked Manmeet to ruin Meet’s character.
Sarkar walks over to Shagun and asks if she thinks Manmeet has changed. She says no, why do you ask this question? I feel they are getting attracted to one another and Manmeet looks like Meet’s dead husband, since Sarkar says no one kidnapped Manmeet, it was Manmeet and Meet’s plan and he didn’t tell you about it.
Sarkar says, I wish I could help you, but Manmeet must be waiting for you now. Who knows, you will soon lose Manmeet, or else may have lost him already. Meet walks in and says I have mehendi for you. Jashoda says Gunvanti I want to be alone for a while. Gunvanti leaves. Jashoda calls Meet near her and says only you can apply this mehendi.
Meet applies mehendi on Jashoda’s hand. Jashoda says she doesn’t understand all this, I have just given birth to boys, I don’t understand what daughter means. You were here to build factories, why didn’t you go? Meet says, when a girl gets married she can fight the whole world with her family, and that is what I want to do. I just want your blessings and I will overcome all obstacles.
Manmeet hates you, he will throw you out of here someday, but for now, let’s set all of this aside, will you two ever love each other, no. Shagun is Manmeet’s happiness, so I want someone for my son who will do anything for him, but you won’t do that for him, so how can I accept you?
