The scene opens with Mauli declining the marriage proposal. Janki leaves, and Mauli reassures Manoj that Janki will eventually forgive him. She suggests finding a suitable partner for Manisha to help heal Janki’s heartache and accept Manoj. He hesitates to trust strangers, but Mauli introduces Karan as a potential candidate known to her and has feelings for Manisha. Despite Manisha’s silence, Mauli urges Manoj to convince her to remarry and clarifies that she is not joking.
He assures me that I can win over Manisha and do whatever it takes to make her happy. He expresses his gratitude for having her as his daughter and believes that whoever she marries will be fortunate. After our conversation, he leaves. My thoughts drift towards Rahul, and I am overcome by emotion. I turn to prayer for comfort. Jyoti interrupts my moment of contemplation and asks about my plans. I inform her of my new goal. She questions me further, and Ajay chimes in, asking if Karan truly loves Manisha. Manoj confirms this by mentioning the flowers Karan sent for her. Vijay suggests we investigate the young man’s character. Ajay is convinced that Manisha is hiding something important from us. Akshay speaks up, declaring his only desire to see her happy, and proposes we ask her ourselves. However, this poses a dilemma as we are uncertain who will approach her and how to do so without upsetting her.
The group gathers for dinner as Manoj announces to Manisha that he has a surprise gift for her. Curious, Manisha asks what it is, and Manoj presents her with a beautiful red chunri. He then explains that this is his way of wishing her a happy married life. The others watch on as Manisha’s memories flood back. In anger, she throws the chunri and adamantly refuses to marry. However, Ajay reminds her that there comes a time when one needs a life partner. Despite Janki’s argument with Manoj about not forcing Manisha into marriage, the group continues to discuss the matter. Ajanta and Swara favor getting Manisha married, while Tanvi agrees with them. As Jyoti, Rahul, and Mauli join the conversation, they ask Manisha why she is so opposed to marrying Karan.
Manisha requests them to go. They asked her to clarify the situation once. Manisha responds, “Alright, I cannot marry Karan, as he happens to be Vicky’s uncle.” They become anxious. Manisha continues, “Janki had asked me to reveal everyone’s preferences and dislikes to Karan, and that’s how we fell in love.” She explains that they had planned on discussing their marriage after Mini and Vicky’s wedding, but their relationship is no longer possible since it did not work out. She firmly states that her truth cannot be changed, and there can be no future between them. She urges everyone to move on from the idea.
She defends the family in Vicky’s case, saying you knew Vicky’s nature, why didn’t you tell Manisha about him. Karan comes to meet Mauli. She says I was worried about Manisha. He says I had no idea. Manisha arrives. The woman asks Mauli not to interfere in her life, saying that family comes first and then love, so please leave. A window glass falls over Manisha. He saves her. His hand is severely cut.
Then Mauli asks Manisha for help. Manisha cries and leaves. Karan says I shouldn’t have come here. He leaves. Mauli says I’ll bring you two together. Rahul and Jyoti talk to her. He asks what to do. Jyoti tells us that we need to convince Manisha. Mauli says her brothers can persuade her. When they learn about Karan, Jyoti says they’ll fight. Mauli says I’ll tell them because lies never lead to successful relationships.
