In looking at Gauri’s photo, Shakti says that my love could never be fulfilled. My only dream was to become a doctor, but I came across Shiv and I just respected him, but I don’t know when I fell in love. When I fell in love with someone who is unattainable, I began dreaming of him, but he doesn’t even love me. He just wants to be my friend. My love story ended before it could begin, and it hurts me so much that I couldn’t fulfill it. She cries.
As Shiv prepares to return home, he is haunted by Shakti’s rejection of their potential friendship or partnership. He struggles to hold back tears as he wonders why her words have such a profound impact on him. Despite giving up his own battles, Shakti fought for him and stood up for him when he couldn’t do it himself. It’s difficult for Shiv to comprehend why she would refuse his friendship after thanking him and unknowingly giving him a renewed sense of purpose. He can’t help but question if he unwittingly overstepped boundaries.
Manorama sees Shakti looking sad and notices her gazing at Gauri’s pictures. She reflects that some people enter our lives for a reason, but eventually we have to let them go. While Shiv may have left you with good memories, it’s important to accept that he doesn’t love you and move forward. As Shakti sheds tears, Manorama comforts her by affirming that she made the right decision. Reminding her that Shiv is now just a memory, she encourages Shakti to let go and prepare for the function. With that, Manorama leaves, assuring Shakti of her motherly protection.
As Shiv’s family prepares for the rakshabandhan pooja, Nandu notices that he appears stressed. Shiv explains it is due to Shakti. Dadi reminds everyone that it is Koyal’s special day. Padma expresses her uncertainty about her brothers showing up, but to her surprise, Bharat and Ragunath arrive just in time. Ragunath asks Padma to tie them rakhi. Mandira, who is upset, blames Shakti for causing a delay. However, when Padma happily ties rakhi to her brothers, Koyal also ties rakhi to Keertan and Nandu joins in as well. Later on, Padma also ties rakhi to Mandira and Dadi suggests that she should tie one to Gayatri too. Koyal playfully applies tilak on Shiv’s forehead and asks why he seems distracted. He remains lost in thought.
Dharam asks Shakti to apply tilak to him. Shakti nods in agreement and does so. Dharam asks if she’s okay? Rimjhim says he knows what’s wrong with her. As Koyal applies the tilak, it smears all over his face. Dadi says it is a good sign that he will get married soon. Mandira gets scared at the thought of it, but smiles. Dadi says he is already lost in thought… who is he thinking about? Shiv says Shakti.. everyone is shocked.
