Akeer asks for his mobile as Angad drives back home. Angad hands him a mobile and remarks he has downloaded numerous games. Akeer gets going on a game. Angad wonders which game to play. Akeer claims to be playing frog games. Gurnoor gets balloons for a poor girl and loves conversations in the Mela. Akeer comes back with Angad’s smartphone. Angad probes whether he is not interested in playing games. I’m not sure, so I sit silently.
Angad pauses at a signal and asks what he should do to befriend Akeer once more. Running from his car, Akeer declares he doesn’t want to be his friend. Angad attempts to stop him but drives on after the signal turns green. He runs behind Akeer after parking his car aside.
Gurnoor walks there after hearing musicians playing at the fair. She enjoys their performance and signs Pehchaan Chupayi Hai.. song. Mob finds great delight in her music. Akeer also runs into Mela and finds his mom on stage, which is shocking. He climbs a stool to see her and tries to approach her in vain. Angad reaches and grabs him before he slips. Gurnoor sees a goon lady and her assistants sprinting towards her and flees, carrying a guitar for the musicians. Akeer informs Angad he watched Mama perform on stage. He inquires of musicians about the whereabouts of the woman singing. The musician claims she left carrying their instrument. Angad goes looking for Sahiba with Akeer.
Gurnoor gets away from the goons and grabs a lift from a scooter owner, telling them she has to see her mother lying down. The Goon lady answers the call from her employer, who chastises her for not spotting Gurnoor yet. Akeer’s school calls Angad to visit the principal. He gets to school and asks Akeer whether he did anything; if he did, he should not worry since he will be spared. That explains why Akeer is here. Gurnoor visits Akeer’s university to go through a job interview for musician teachers. She needs this job, so she considers gaining it at any cost. She tries to deceive candidates and encourage them to look for another job. Their rejection is evident. She believes when people are joyful, good-feeling hormones flow from their bodies, and even if they benefit someone, they are still released. They discreetly observe her. She sets off emotional conflict.

Gurnoor comes in for an interview. Principal summons Angad. Right behind him is Gurnoor. The principal questions Angad about his desire to get Akeer kicked from the school. Akeer claims he does not wish to attend this institution for study. Angad walks to Gurnoor after spotting her humming a song. He refers to her as Sahiba. Who asks her?
