Rumi looks at a blood-stained knife and tells his imaginative mother that Angad must be wondering where Sahiba went in jail. He thinks Sahiba rejected him so he had to teach her a lesson. Constable brings a man who physically abused his girlfriend and puts him in Angad’s lockup. He identifies Angad and asks him for a selfie. Angad says he doesn’t have a phone, so he warns him to stay away from him. The man taunts him for killing his wife.
His news is all over the news channels and the whole Punjab is aware of his crime. Angad says he didn’t kill his wife. Rumi wonders why he separated Sahiba from Angad as she returned to Angad and sent her far away from him. He repeats he didn’t kill his wife. Rumi fears Sahiba is in danger or dead.
Seerat comes to see Angad and tears when she sees his condition. She says she had dreamed of a good life for him and can’t bear to see him like this. Angad blames her for his condition and says if she hadn’t provoked Sahiba with her announcement, Sahiba wouldn’t have left home and all this wouldn’t have happened. As his mother thought of their marriage in order to keep him happy, Seerat asks him not to blame his mother.

Angad fears that when he appears in court tomorrow, he will be labeled a merciless killer and denied bail. He contemplates the possibility that this person may be speaking the truth.
Angad is worried, and Japjot and Gurleen cry. Angad, a millionaire who used to have food in 5-star hotels, will now have jail food. Prabjot says the media has sensationalized the news and has labeled him a criminal. Akaal switches off the TV and says they won’t watch the news until Angad is released from jail. Manveer says Seerat will and blames Sahiba for getting Angad into trouble even after dying. Inder tongue lashed her for her cheap thinking. Manveer gets adamant. Jasleen insists they accept Angad killed Sahiba.
