The episode begins with Sachin discussing Sayali with Aaji and Shanti. Aaji suggests calling a fortune teller to their home. However, Sachin expresses his skepticism towards this idea. Eventually, Aaji sends them to the temple. During their conversation, Sayali and Sachin talk about swimming, and she reveals that she doesn’t know how to swim. Sachin then shares that he learned from his father, who threw him into a lake and told him to conquer his fear. Sayali thanked him for rescuing her, and he promised to help her overcome her fear. She reassures him that she is okay now.
I have to befriend Riya because Akash says Riya hates me. He pretends to be hurt and takes selfies, hoping to convince Riya. He sends Riya the pictures. She says the photos mean the chef caught that goon. She says I saw the pics, I’m so happy. He says he’s happy that he didn’t beat the wrong guy, I hope you’re happy. She says she’s happy, and I wanted him to apologize. He says he can’t say sorry, and I’ve beaten him so much.
She says congrats, you have been promoted as my best friend, I will come to the restaurant and meet you. He says I’m tired, I’m home, I’ll see you later. Aaji tells the pandit about Sachin and Sayali’s marriage. He says they should start a happy life today, the mahurat is good, otherwise they’ll face problems. She asks what to do next. He gives her a list, and she says we’ll get ready. He leaves. Sachin and Sayali return home, and Aaji scolds him for what the pandit said.
She says we got a good mahurat. He asks why. Shanti says for your wedding night. Aaji says you aren’t staying as husband and wife. Sachin says I will leave right away. Aaji says you got a treasure in Sayali’s form. She cries and says go from here, forget her, make people think you ruined my name. He asks why she is saying this.
She says, “I thought you would make me great grandma, but this happiness isn’t in my destiny.” Shanti asks him to try to be happy. No one is perfect, and relations should be perfect. She says, “You won’t get a girl like Sayali.” Aaji says, “Forget it.” He asks, “What should I do?” She asks, “Shall I tell you?” He says, “Fine. Do whatever you like. I’m ready to do it.” Everyone smiles.
Sachin sees Sayali and feels odd. He goes and calls Anya. He asks, “Did you pay the EMI?” Anya says, “Don’t worry.” Sachin asks, “Did you pay for your mum’s medicines?” Anya says yes. He says, “I will return in two days.” He goes to Aaji and tells him about his childhood friend. He says, “I will meet him.” She says, “No, you won’t.” He asks why; it’s because of Sayali.
Then Aaji pulls Sayali’s ears and scolds her. She smiles. Aaji says Sayali is your life’s brake. He asks her to tell Aaji to let him go. He grabs her saree pallu and stops her. She smiles. He says Aaji won’t let me go if you say.
The woman instructs one person to go to a specific location and have a drink, but another person interjects, stating that they would prefer tea instead. A grandparent advises not to listen to the second person’s opinion, while someone else pleads with the grandparent to allow the first person to leave. The grandparent agrees and asks what she should say, ultimately approving for the first person to go. They express their happiness as the first person eagerly leaves, running off. Meanwhile, someone refers to this individual as their favorite customer, and another person quickly declines to be identified before hiding from someone named Riya. Eventually, Riya finds this person, who reluctantly reveals themselves as Chef Akash. She is surprised by his appearance and remains in shock throughout their interaction.
She says you cheated on me. He says no, I didn’t know about it, and you make good sketches. She says you made fake injuries. They argue. She leaves. He says, “I hope this doesn’t end our friendship.” Vaiju meets Sayali. They talk. Sayali applies Haldi to Vaiju and says you’ll marry soon.
After Vaiju leaves, Aaji greets her friend Gita and other village women. Sayali says she feels shy. Aaji introduces Gita and asks Sayali to take a bath, and then they will prepare for puja. Sayali smiles.
