The episode commences with Ruhi inviting Armaan to eat. Abhira seizes him and informs him that Vidya has sent lunch for him and he should consume it now. Abhira then mentions that Ruhi feels guilty for not being able to pay her fees, hence she is providing food. He adds that Ruhi comes from a respectable family and in a fit of rage, she took the car, which led to the unfortunate accident. He clarifies that he is only helping her. The two continue talking and he asks her what she likes about him – his eyes, smile or conversations. They proceed to have their meal together while “Alag tujhse asar kuch hai…” plays in the background. Armaan lovingly feeds Ruhi and she sits there crying. Suwarna cautions her to stay away from Armaan as it will only break her heart again.
Vidya prays for the well-being of Abhira, Ruhi, and Armaan. Dadi arrives and comments that Vidya is placing the Lord in a dilemma by choosing between Abhira and Armaan-Ruhi. She urges Vidya to decide which side she is on. In response, Vidya states that as a mother, all her children are equal to her. Dadi insults Abhira while Manisha reminds Vidya of how Abhira saved her from going to jail using her skills as a lawyer. Dadi then leaves while Manisha asks Vidya to pray for the reunion of Abhira and Armaan.
The judge requests Abhira to provide evidence, to which she responds with only 5 minutes. She proceeds to show the footage of the accident where Ruhi is seen hitting Rajesh. Armaan defends his client, claiming that the dark streets played a role. However, Abhira refutes this by pointing out that the car was faulty, indicating her negligence. She suggests getting the car checked for confirmation. This statement causes concern for Armaan. The judge then announces that a decision will be made after inspecting the car tomorrow.
Ruhi predicts that I will be imprisoned for six months. Manish, do you have faith in him? Will he ensure our victory or should we hire someone else? Armaan applauds and congratulates me, saying that I am about to win my first case. Abhira, you are only considering Ruhi’s perspective; what about Rajesh’s? You are a skilled lawyer. Armaan reminds me of my earlier words and cautions me against ruining Ruhi’s life. He also gives me a photograph of Akshara and leaves. Later at home, Abhira confesses to using shortcuts in her first case and wonders why she was so determined to win.
Dadi hands her a toffee and remarks, “I thought you were going to win your first case.” Abhira inquires why she’s being given the treat, to which Dadi replies that it’s a celebration of her victory. She praises Abhira for closing all avenues for her return to Armaan and expresses how painful it is when trust is broken. Dadi then feeds the toffee to Abhira and departs. Sushant turns to Manish and demands that he hand over the house, warning that Ruhi could end up behind bars.
Armaan approaches and inquires about Sushant’s plan. Upon hearing the answer, Armaan serves him a notice and berates him before dismissing him. Expressing remorse, he admits to disclosing information to Abhira. Manish suggests finding a new lawyer, but Armaan pleads for another chance to make amends and ensure Ruhi does not go to jail. While Manish gives him one last opportunity, he also issues a warning before leaving.
“Armaan reassures Ruhi not to be concerned. However, she immediately experiences a panic attack. In an effort to help, he considers reaching out to Manish. But, Ruhi insists against it due to fear of causing worry for him. Without hesitation, Armaan takes her to see a therapist. Meanwhile, Abhira contacts Armaan and assumes he is simply taking care of Ruhi and dismisses the situation as insignificant. Yet, Ruhi expresses her ongoing struggle with finding financial stability and moving on from their past together. Trying to set boundaries, Armaan firmly ends any lingering hope between them and emphasizes that he has moved on. He also kindly arranges for her driver to take her home before leaving.”
Abhira inquires about Armaan’s whereabouts upon his arrival at home. She expresses her concern and asks him to communicate with her. He reveals his feelings of disappointment and betrayal towards her, sharing that he loves her immensely. He compares the situation to being in court with Sanjay, drawing parallels to the pain he feels due to her actions.
