The Episode opens with Armaan pleading with Dadi to reconsider her decision and give Abhira a chance. He assures her that Abhira’s presence in the family is not a mistake but his responsibility. Sanjay interjects and expresses his concerns about Abhira using Armaan for her gain, urging Dadi to cancel the marriage to protect their family’s reputation. However, Armaan asserts that he has never asked for anything from Dadi before, but he is now asking for her to allow Abhira to stay in their home. Meanwhile, Madhav overhears their conversation and admires his son’s courage in standing up for his wife. Suddenly, everyone receives messages on their phones. Sanjay shows Dadi a video that reveals the news of Armaan getting married.
Dadi gets quiet. Vidya says the guests would know it by now, so please say yes to Abhira’s Mu dikhai. Dadi becomes angry. She taunts Armaan. She says to do that girl’s Mu dikhai and leaves. Abhira sits studying. Armaan gets noodles for her. She feels hungry. He says I’ve made these noodles. She refuses. He asks her to have it.
As she sheds tears, expressing her longing for Mussoorie, her home, and her mother, he recalls the delicious taste of a dish he had while staying at her resort. Grateful for the memory, she thanks him. He offers to share it with her, and she eagerly asks if more noodles are available. Assured that there are, she asks him to bring another bowl for her. However, he kindly insists that this one is for her since he knows she has not eaten. She shares that she is not used to sharing food with others, but he reveals his experience growing up in a joint family where sharing was common. She then mentions how different they seem, coming from such different backgrounds. Suddenly noticing Ruhi crying nearby, he approaches her and acknowledges that she must be upset with him.
He explains that our marriage, Abhira and mine, was agreed upon as a one-year contract. She questions him, to which he confirms that neither of us wishes to remain in this union. Therefore, we have made an arrangement to file for divorce once she becomes independent. She expresses concern over his family’s reaction and wonders if he can handle it. He affirms that he is prepared for his family’s disappointment, whereas she only has her mother, whom she lost because of him. He believes he has to shoulder the burden of her guilt and responsibility. He had promised Akshara that he would help Abhira become a lawyer and intends to keep that promise as a responsibility rather than out of love. She suggests telling Dadi everything, but he refuses out of fear for Abhira’s safety, explaining that revealing the truth could put her life in danger. Thus, he pleads with her not to disclose this information to anyone else.
After a year, Rohi asks what you will tell everyone. Having snatched my hatred, she asks why you told me this. I don’t know what to do. He says to help Abhira and me and ask if you can become her friend. She asks why me. You are the only one who knows the truth about marriage. She says she will help you.
Manisha and Manoj come to Abhira’s door and leave. Abhira studies. She sees Aryan and everyone at the door. She says they are strange. Why are they here? Manoj says you all were keeping an eye on Abhira. Manisha says we are elders. Krish says Abhira is rude. Charu says it’s okay. Manoj jokes. Abhira watches them arguing.
Krish spots Abhira and alerts them, after which they quickly devise an excuse and depart. Vidya then hands over some clothes and informs Armaan that they are for him and Abhira. She urges them to prepare themselves and join the rest of the family. Armaan embraces and apologizes for his actions, acknowledging that he has hurt her deeply and betrayed her trust. Despite this, she still went to Dadi on his behalf. She consoles him and reminds him to keep their relationship close to his heart. Vidya emphasizes that Abhira is not someone they love or choose but rather a problem for their family. Nevertheless, Armaan assures her he will try to make things work with Abhira. However, Vidya counters by stating that as the eldest daughter-in-law, it is not enough to try – she must also be committed to keeping the family together, something Abhira may struggle with.
In Mu dikhai, Abhira says she won’t attend. Sanjay welcomes the guests. He says Abhira is clever. We wanted to throw her out, but now we’re welcoming guests in her Mu dikhai. Armaan asks Abhira to do rasam. Abhira says Dadi will taunt me for trapping you. I’m not saying anything wrong, but it’s not fair that I come there for their sake. He says you should come for a while. She refuses.
The lady asks Vidya to get her elder bahu. Kajal talks to the guests. She says Ruhi has arrived. Dadi smiles as she sees Ruhi coming with a ghunghat on her face. The lady asks Vidya to get Ruhi. Abhira thinks she won’t come. Armaan insists that she come. He gives her the dupatta to wear. She throws the dupatta and shouts, saying she won’t come downstairs. The dupatta falls over them. Everyone hears. The ladies talk about Abhira’s temper.
