Manjiri fixes the engagement date
While walking down the stairs, Abhimanyu overhears Manjiri talking on the phone to Panditji about an engagement date and time. Abhimanyu asks her why she is in a hurry when he has promised Manish that he will wait some time. He tries to explain that the Goenka family needs time to decide. However, Manjiri insists that the engagement will be finalized soon.
Aarohi asks Kairav to forget the past
Kairav suggests to Aarohi that she reconsider her decision. He reminds her of Abhimanyu’s importance in Roohi’s life, noting that he has been there since her birth and hasn’t let her feel the void of not having a father around. He adds that Abhimanyu should not be judged based on his past, as everyone is entitled to move on from their mistakes. Aarohi agrees, reminding him of her own wrongdoings in the past, and questions why Abhimanyu should be any different.
Arohi urges everyone to forget the mistakes Abhimanyu has made in the past and focus on the present because Abhimanyu is now taking care of Roohi and has not broken any promises.
Manish agrees to the engagement
Abhimanyu walks into the room while they are talking. Abhinav invites him in when nobody responds. Just then, Manjiri calls Suvarna to let them know Abhimanyu is on his way. Abhimanyu and Aarohi will get engaged, and there will no delay. She is confident she is making the right decision in her children’s best interest. The engagement is approved by Manish.
Manjiri congratulates Suhasini on Abhimanyu and Aarohi’s engagement
Kairav is told that Manish respects the decision of the kids, and he expects Kairav to do the same. Kairav says he would have celebrated if he was happy, but he worries about Aarohi because she is making the wrong choice. Aarohi is told that Abhimanyu will never give her the place in his life that she deserves.

It is time for the Goenka family to perform the Tilak ceremony for Abhimanyu and Aarohi. Akshara remembers her own Tilak ceremony. The entire family takes turns applying Tilak to Abhimanyu and Aarohi including Akshara.
In front of the mirror, Abhimanyu stares for hours at the Tilak on his forehead and thinks of Akshara.
They are going home the next day and Akshara informs Abhir they have booked tickets. Kairav wants to stay back for the engagement since it is his school holidays and he wants to also stay for the engagement. Abhinav and Akshara try to convince Abhir that they need to go, but Abhir has already picked up the phone. He calls Docman to tell his parents to stay back.
Abhinav and Akshara are going back to Kasauli
On the way to the airport, Abhinav, Akshara and Abhir are in the car. Abhir becomes unconscious, so they rush him to Birla Hospital. At the hospital, Abhimanyu goes to check on Abhir, but Akshara stops him.
