The scene opens with Anupama envisioning herself performing a dance routine with Aadhya on stage. Baa, Babu ji, and Anuj are in the audience, and Anuj remarks that the whole of America will celebrate their performance, not just India. Anupama then reflects on an incident from six months ago when she and Anuj were on the verge of reconciliation and living happily together. She wonders why Anuj didn’t reach out to her at the time.
As the flashback scene begins, Anuj urgently requests for the driver to change course. As he receives a call from Anupama, he instructs the driver to speed up. Inquiring about his whereabouts, Anupama inquires if everything is alright. Panicked, Anuj responds that he cannot come at the moment. Suddenly, the car comes to a halt and Anuj quickly gets out and starts running. He frantically informs her that something has happened to Aadhya…but before he can finish, there is an unexpected accident. Both Anuj and Anupama are affected as they fall to the ground. The flashback concludes with these events.
Anupama gazes at Anuj’s photo and confides that she has attempted to track him down, but unfortunately, nobody familiar with him could reveal his whereabouts. They simply assured her of his well-being and mentioned Aadhya staying at a hostel. She wonders where he may have disappeared to and expresses her longing to see him again, while also hoping that he is safe and sound. She confesses that she conceals her pain and puts on a smiling face for others. With the help of her walking stick, she rises to her feet. She then performs a ritual by sprinkling Ganges water and drawing a Swastik on the wall, followed by offering prayers to the holy basil plant.
She offers prayers to God for the continued blessings and strength of the Asha Bhavan community, as well as the happiness and well-being of her loved ones Anuj and choti. Reflecting on a past accident, she remembers calling out Anuj’s name while he also uttered hers. As they both realize the significance of a broken locket, they long for each other despite being physically separated by miles. The flashback ends.
Vanraj, who has taken on a more youthful appearance due to his exercise regimen, catches the sound of Pakhi’s music playing. He then receives a business call and responds with an air of arrogance. Baa enters the room and shares her concern about not being able to wear orthopedic shoes. Vanraj insists that they cannot be returned and suggests consulting Dimpy, Kinjal or Pakhi for advice on how to wear them correctly.
However, Baa is doubtful that Pakhi would be willing to help. Vanraj dismisses the issue and focuses on his work, claiming he doesn’t have time for such matters. Baa reminds him that Meenu, who has completed her MBBS in the US, will be arriving soon and asks him to take care of her. Vanraj assures her that he understands his responsibilities and will coordinate with Dolly for Meenu’s visit. However, Baa notices that despite all the family matters at hand, Vanraj is consumed with his business call.
After feeding the cow, Anupama calls for her dog, Coffee, and compliments his speed despite having a broken leg. She affectionately refers to him as her “good son” and sends him on his way. Next, she leaves some bajra for the birds and reminds them to use proper table manners. As she heads back inside, she almost falls down the stairs but is rescued by a man. Grateful, she thanks him and jokingly suggests that she should become a lawyer as she has good communication skills.
Anupama points out that she is unable to work in the same manner as her counterpart. She mentions how they spend the entire day at work, then take an auto to study law all night. Anupama expresses her doubts about being able to handle such a demanding schedule. Her emotions are stirred as she recalls his previous statement of one lawyer being sufficient. He reminds her that this is their home now and urges her to undergo the operation. He questions why she seems to be neglecting it. She suggests he focus on Pari instead since Nandita will soon arrive with their little one.
Sagar assures me that he will take care of everything. He then inquires about the flower for Indra and confirms that he has brought it. He promises to make everyone’s morning a good one. Anupama peers outside towards a nearby residence. A voice beckons her to join the puja, to which she responds affirmatively.

As Anupama steps outside her house, a faint melody of a flute catches her attention. A bearded figure, whom she suspects to be Anuj, is sitting there playing the instrument. Curious, she begins walking towards him.
