Ishan approaches Shikha’s room but is halted when she stops him. He inquires about the whereabouts of a brown file, but she denies seeing it. He retreats. Savi tries to leave but quickly retracts due to feeling ill. Yashwant discusses with Surekha how Savi has accused Ayush Bharve of s*xual harassment, but they cannot take action as they receive funding from Ayush’s father Makrand and he is aiding them with their land issue in Mumbai. They decide to prevent Savi from coming to their house.
Ishan passes by and is shocked to see her sitting on a sofa in the living room. Surekha assures her she will handle Savi. Savi says even she is surprised to see him in his house. Surekha rushes to him followed by Asmita and Shikha. Ishan asks what this girl is doing here. Surekha answers that she became unconscious while driving Asmita and Shikha to a temple, so they brought her here.
Ishan is claiming that Savi, the girl frequently mentioned in their household, is using his family to plot against him. This news comes as a shock to Surekha. Asmita confirms that Savi had no knowledge of how she wound up there. However, Ishan continues to insist that she is only obeying Isha’s (presumably the mistress of the house) orders. Savi warns him against dragging Isha into everything. To which Ishan responds by criticizing Isha for making time for other people’s children but not her own – despite being able to travel from Ramtek to Pune to fight for a student. Savi asks what he means by this, and he reveals the shocking truth that Isha is actually his mother.
Ishan continues to express his frustration towards Isha. Savi returns to her room. Surekha calls Yashwant and informs him of what just happened. Surekha agrees with Yashwant that she should not let Savi go from there. She should act good with Savi so that she starts to trust her and then ask Savi to drop the complaint against Ayush, Durva, and Avni.
Savi recalls all the incidents concerning Isha and Ishan, as Asmita and Shikha enter. Savi expresses her surprise at learning that Ishan is actually Isha madam’s son and clarifies that she had no knowledge of this. Asmita confirms that they are aware of the situation. Savi voices her disbelief at the fact that Ishan harbors such strong animosity towards his mother and inquires why. Shikha mentions that she has never met Isha personally, but is aware of the unspoken rule to not mention her in the house. Asmita explains that women are not permitted to work in this household and Ishan was very attached to his mother who had left him when he was young. Savi recalls Bhavani’s prejudice against educated girls and expresses her understanding that it is common in small towns, but questions why Shantanu did not intervene to bring back Isha. Asmita admits she does not know, to which Savi remarks on Isha’s love for her students, wondering how she could neglect her own child. She concludes that there must be some underlying issue causing this conflict between them.
