The episode starts with Shiv and Rani Maa engaged in a heated argument. Surilii intervenes and advises them not to harbor so much hatred. She expresses her disappointment at Rani Maa trashing the food she had made with love, suggesting it could have been given to the poor instead. Surilii apologizes and admits her confusion about royal protocols. Rani Maa raises her voice and questions Surilii’s presence in the kitchen without permission. Maan tries to intervene, but Shiv allows Surilii to speak. Rani Maa scolds Surilii, bringing up her background as a Barot and how everyone knows about it. She notices a picture of Surilii in the newspaper and blames her for bringing shame and mockery upon the family.

Surilii is taken aback and asks how this happened. Rani Maa reveals that the picture was personal and now in the newspaper, questioning if Surilii had called the reporter and sold it for money. Shiv denies any knowledge of it, and Rani Maa insists that Surilii knows everything, accusing him of being blind in her love. Shiv defends Surilii, reminding Rani Maa that she is the eldest daughter-in-law of the palace. However, Rani Maa disregards Surilii’s position, demanding that she be taken away from her sight and the family, as she has no right to taint their happiness during her son’s marriage. Rani Maa becomes visibly shaken, causing concern among everyone present. Maan urges her to sit down, while Shiv goes after Surilii. Rani Maa retreats to her room, and Ambitai watches with a smile. Surilii goes to her room, locks the door, and breaks down in tears. Shiv knocks on the door, and Surilii lies that she is talking to Diya and will be out soon. Shiv accepts it and goes downstairs.

He checks the newspaper to find the source of the leaked news. Surilii receives a call from Maasi, and she stops crying to answer it. Maasi asks what’s wrong, but Surilii lies and assures her that everything is fine. Maasi expresses her dislike for Surilii’s Saas (mother-in-law). Surilii claims to have melted Rani Maa’s heart with love and promises to meet Maasi soon. After ending the call, she resumes crying.

Swati reads the newspaper article and tears it in anger. Hari asks how the news leaked, and Swati suspects Surilii of being responsible, feeling that Surilii is insecure and jealous of her. Madhu disagrees and says they should find out who actually did it, and Hari nods in agreement. Madhu suggests going to the palace to inquire about the matter. Swati hugs Hari in distress.

Samar pays money to the reporter for the next news and seems angered by the reporter’s behavior. Veera asks Rani Maa to check the guest list.
