A Pakistani inspector assaulted an Indian man who refused to insult India following Pakistan’s loss in a cricket match. Shlok and Akki watched as people destroyed their televisions in response to the defeat. The inspector continued his brutal attack on the Indian man, resulting in his death. A constable then showed Shlok’s photograph, accusing him of trespassing into their territory, and threatened to display it in Karachi. Shlok appeared concerned.
Sumeet raises concerns to the foreign minister about the false accusations against Shlok. The minister confirms that Pakistan received information from an Indian source, identifying Shlok as a spy and ultimately leading to his death. Secretary presents a photo of the deceased man who was killed in Pakistan and is identified as an Indian spy. Sumeet is taken aback upon recognizing the photo as someone she had met before, and goes to offer support to the grieving widow. As she continues to worry about Shlok’s safety, he coincidentally finds himself in the same vicinity as the Pakistani inspector, attempting to conceal his identity. Fortunately, the inspector walks past without noticing him. However, Shlok becomes shocked when he comes across posters plastered on walls depicting him as an Indian spy, adding to his perilous situation.
Shlok is concerned about the posters scattered around and his journey back home. Sumeet is resolute in her mission to rescue Shlok and Akki from Pakistan, even if she has to travel there herself. Upon overhearing a group of Indian artists discussing their upcoming trip to Pakistan, she seeks their assistance in securing a visa for herself as well. The news of an Indian man being brutally murdered in Pakistan leaves them all stunned. Raj offers comfort to the Chowdhury family and assures them that they can trust Sumeet to bring back Shlok and Akki unharmed. Shlok worries about the potential danger he may face if he is recognized by someone.
While on a call, Shlok discovers that his calls to India are being monitored. He ponders how he can communicate with his family without being caught. Akki interrupts and mentions his hunger. As Shlok reaches into his pocket, he finds one of Sumeet’s earrings and fondly remembers their time together. Despite not physically being by his side, she remains with him in spirit. Sumeet assures Shlok’s safety no matter where he is. When one member of their artists’ group drops out of the Pakistan trip, they are in need of a replacement dhol player. Without hesitation, Sumeet volunteers for the role as she is skilled at playing it.
While the band members discuss their plans, a passerby shows the inspector Shlok’s poster, claiming to have seen him. The inspector informs the crowd that Shlok’s pictures are everywhere and demands that they do not let him escape alive. The crowd becomes enraged and vows not to let Shlok survive. Sumeet plays the dhol, impressing the band members who are leaving for Pakistan. During her explanation to them, she emphasizes her desire to bring her husband back safely.
