Angad confronts Sahiba about an FIR that bears her signature. Sahiba denies signing it, but the inspector shows her signature on the FIR, which matches her ID card. Angad accuses her of lying, but the inspector warns him not to pressurize his wife. Sahiba insists that she never filed any complaint and was not behind Akaal’s arrest.
Angad takes Sahiba to a cabin and accuses her of lying again. The inspector intervenes and shares her own experience of fighting domestic abuse and getting justice. Sahiba is shocked when shown a video where someone claiming to be her accuses Akaal and his family of torturing her. She denies being the person in the video and wonders how it ended up at the police station.
The police show CCTV footage of Sahiba filing the FIR, but she maintains that it was an imposter pretending to be her. They proceed to press charges against Akaal and deny him bail. At home, Japjyoth’s health deteriorates due to the stress of the situation, and the family continues to verbally abuse Sahiba.
Angad’s lawyer informs him that he can’t secure bail for Akaal without knowing the evidence Sahiba submitted. Sahiba tries to convince Akaal that she didn’t file the complaint, but Angad scolds her for changing her statement.
Inspector warns Angad to stay away from his wife and promises to arrange the best public prosecutor for Sahiba due to the high-profile nature of the case. NGO ladies offer help to Sahiba, but she declines their assistance and asks the inspector to keep them away.
Angad plans to seek help from the home minister and DIG to resolve the matter. In a heated conversation with the family, Inder suggests that Angad divorce Sahiba due to the case against Akaal. Angad reluctantly signs the divorce papers, and Sahiba expresses her frustration over not being able to explain that she didn’t file the complaint. Angad admits he can’t explain it either.
