Sahiba is taunted by Seerat as she walks to her institute and tells her that the world is selfish and that those they trust the most often betray them. The examiner asks Seerat if she said those lines for Sahiba’s husband. She answers that she heard it in a movie and thought of telling the artists here about it. After walking away, the examiner tells Sahiba she can make Seerat’s portrait.

Sahiba inquires why Seerat decided to come here since she dislikes her studies. Seerat explains that loved ones always come to the rescue during difficult times, and since she knew that Angad wouldn’t be coming, she came to support Sahiba. Upon seeing Angad approaching, Sahiba feels overjoyed. Seerat expresses her happiness at seeing Sahiba, but not to this extent. As Angad joins them, leaving Seerat feeling envious, he questions if he is late. Sahiba assures him that he arrived at the perfect time. Angad then turns to Seerat and asks why she is present at the location. Seerat responds by stating that since he didn’t want to attend, she came in his place.

Sahiba’s classmates introduce themselves to Angad and praise him. The examiner says Angad arrived on time, and advises him to keep his wife happy if he wants to be happy, and tells Sahiba she has two subjects now. It is Angad’s suggestion that Sahiba choose Seerat since she came first. Sahiba writes Angad’s name on her invitation card. The classmate suggests she choose him. Sahiba asks Seerat to make Angad’s way through.

A fuming Seerat stands up. Sahiba begins to make Angad’s portrait and asks her to move aside as she is blocking his face from the light. Sahiba tells Seerat that she thought he wouldn’t come. Angad says he had to. She smears paint on her nose while drawing portrait. Angad cleans it and says she acts like a kid sometimes. A romantic song plays in the background. Sahiba measures his face and makes a portrait. Seerat fumes as she walks away from there.

Upon testing Manveer, the doctor says that she is totally fine. Jasleen congratulates him. Manveer says Jasleen must be jealous. Hansraj and Prabjyoth come in and say they’re worried about Manveer, but she’s done her assignment and brought Simran a boarding school form. Inder takes the form, and Jasleen says Simran will move to boarding school as soon as Inder signs the form. Sahiba completes Angad’s portrait. The Examiner says the portrait contains many emotions and asks her to explain.

Sahiba explains Angad’s varying emotions and his compassionate nature. The examiner is impressed and remarks on their strong bond. Manveer mentions that Simran’s form will only have her mother’s name, with father’s name left blank. She resorts to feigning illness and emotional manipulation. Akaal pressures Inder to agree to Manveer’s terms. Sahiba and Angad overhear the discussion upon returning home. Later, Inder meets Sahiba and shares that he will be leaving Ludhiana with Simran as he cannot bear the thought of his daughter being labeled an orphan or hating him.
