Abhimanyu accepts his mistakes and tells Parth that he is not proud of them. He has never denied making mistakes but he does not hide behind them. Anand tells Abhimanyu not to interfere in their problems. Mahima tells them that when Shefali has denied that Parth has not hit her why are they insisting that there was domestic violence? Manjiri says she too has many times hidden such facts from the family.
Abhimanyu says we have failed as a family. He refuses to keep quiet when Mahima stops him. He says when a girl leaves her maternal home and comes to stay with her in-laws there are a lot of pressures on her and she is not able to share the truth always. We have once again failed as a family as we could not see the problems of the daughter-in-law of the family. He says the daughter in laws of this family has always been victimized.
Neelima says because of someone else’s misdeeds a nice person like Abhinav is in lock up. Abhir comes in just then and hears that his dad is in jail. Akshara convinces Abhir that nothing will happen to Abhinav. Abhir prays that his father comes home soon.
Abhimanyu accepts that he made a mistake by sending Akshara out of the house. Manjiri is not happy hearing him say that. Abhimanyu tells Manjiri that it was their fault at that time. We have to accept our mistakes. We cannot make amends now but we should at least accept our mistake. He regrets keeping quiet when Akshara was wrongly blamed. He says now he will not keep quiet and will not let any daughter-in-law of the family be mistreated.
Muskan is crying on the phone while talking to her mom. Kairav sees her crying and asks the reason. Muskan tells him about the drugs found in Abhinav’s car and that he is in jail now.
Abhimanyu tells Shefali he understands why she is not telling the truth. He says he is ready to wait for her to share everything with him. He tells her that a child learns from his parents. What does she want to teach her son? To be quiet or to fight back.
Akshara reaches the police station and gives the name of Manish Chokshi who had travelled in the car and the bag should be his. When the police ask her what she will do if he denies she asks him to check the CCTV cameras at the hotel. The cops say they cannot do anything now as it is late evening. She insists they do the investigations just now or else she will go to his senior officers. She threatens to get him suspended if he does not start his investigations just now. Abhinav gets angry when the copy speaks rudely to Akshara. He speaks rudely to the cop after which any police officer manhandles Abhinav which Akshara does not tolerate. She threatens the cop that if he does not do it immediately she will ensure that he goes to jail for seven years. She tells him never to underestimate the power of an Indian wife.
Aarohi tells Abhimanyu that we cannot help someone who does not want to help themself. Abhimanyu replies that if we support her she might get the courage to speak. Mahima tells Shefali that Abhimanyu is only taking advantage of her situation.
The Police officer requests Akshara not to take any action against him. She agrees only if Abhinav is released on bail immediately. Abhinav is impressed.
Manjiri tells Shefali that she does not know what has happened between her and Parth. Shefali herself has to decide what is right and what is wrong. Manjiri assures Shefali that if she has been wronged then she will support her. She says that unless we don’t respect ourselves nobody will give us any respect.
Akshara sits with the Police Officer and shows him all the proofs of the booking of the car. Abhinav is feeling sorry because he has troubled Akshara.
Manjiri is thinking about how is Akshara the victim when they have lost their son. She does not agree with Abhimanyu that they have done anything wrong to Akshara.
Akshara signs all the papers and takes Abhinav home. Before that, she wants the cop, who pushed Abhinav to apologize. He says sorry and releases Abhinav.
Shefali comes to Abhimanyu and tells him that she wants to start new beginnings on this new day. She is ready to tell all the truth about her marriage. Abhimanyu calls the entire family. Shefali stands in front of Parth.
Akshara and Abhinav walk out of the police station with a smile on their faces.
