Ram and Priya engage in a conversation about their marriage while dining at a restaurant. Ram expresses his desire for their marriage to be a contract-based arrangement, citing the difficulties of trusting others when one is wealthy. Curious, Priya takes out the contract papers and presents them to Ram.
He laughs at the fact that Ram cannot make any financial claims against her. She adds, that it is the same for me as well. I cannot make any financial claims on your properties either. The next clause in the contract is that there will be no physical relationship between the two. Ram laughs. She also tells him you can’t start liking me at any time, else you’ll be jailed.
In the other room, Alekha tells Yuvraj that he needs to get Ram’s signature on the papers. Yuvraj says that is not necessary since he will be Ram’s partner after marriage. Alekya assures Yuvraj that he will always work under Ram. Yuvraj is irritated.
Ram and Priya celebrate their time together at the restaurant by cutting a cake, but their joy is interrupted by the arrival of Yuvraj. Spotting him, Priya attempts to leave, but Yuvraj insults her. Unwilling to back down, Priya responds with a retort before making her exit. Yuvraj, seizing the opportunity, presents Ram with some documents to sign. Just as Ram is about to sign, he receives a call from his mother, causing him to retract his hand.
Upon learning from his mother about his engagement to Priya, Yuvraj notices the marriage contract between Ram and Priya and devises a plan to sabotage their union. Witnessing Priya in tears, Ram confronts Yuvraj and firmly instructs him to leave. Contemplating his next move, Ram considers enlisting the help of Alekha to expose the contract to everyone.
Ram approaches Priya, offering his support and attempting to uplift her spirits. He buys her tea from a stall. She feels better after drinking it. Priya pays for it. The server wishes for the marriage to last for 100 years. Priya takes the money back and says him to take his wish back. Ram gives her the money and tells her that not every wish comes true. Kriti sees them together and gets furious. She confronts Ram.
