When she tells Angad she has already told him she is not his slave, Sahiba refuses to wear Brar’s sent dress and jewellery for the wedding reception. In an attempt to force her to wear the bangles, Angad shouts that her generation hasn’t seen such precious jewellery or clothes, which is why she cannot wear them.
While Sahiba continues to resist and argue with him, Angad claims his family name cannot be ruined because of her. Sahiba frees her hand and asks if this is how his family women taught him to respect women.
It is Bebe with Gurleen who walks in and stops Angad, who walks away fuming. Gurleen tells Sahiba to forget Angad’s misbehaviour and get ready for the reception, as it is Darji’s request and a question of the family’s dignity.
Gurleen tries to fix the bangle on Sahiba’s wrist, but Sahiba refuses and says she cannot sacrifice her self-respect. Gurleen leaves.
Bebe tells Sahiba that she came to seek something from her and asks her to prepare for the reception so well that all the Brar DILs appear dull in front of her and come down. Sahiba refuses. Bebe asks if she asked for something big.
A rich person gets angry if their order is rejected, says Sahiba. She says Sahiba is angry because Brars insulted her and her mother, and Angad and Bebe married for the sake of their families, but the Brar family is now Sahiba’s family, so it’s her responsibility to protect its dignity.
As she walks away, she says it’s up to her whether to attend the reception or not. Sahiba stands thinking.
Garry’s number is switched off when Seerat calls the Brar Jewellers office. The receptionist informs Seerat that Brar Jewellers hadn’t been in the office for 3 days due to Angad’s wedding and their office just opened today.
Garry must be attending Angad’s reception today, so Seerat is anxious that he will discover her truth and Brars will accept Sahiba as their DIL. She contemplates visiting reception and fears what might happen.
In a fake attempt to show concern for Angad, Garry says he will never forgive Jasleen for what she did and will leave Brar mansion with his mother and sister. He asks him not to do that and says he won’t allow any rifts between family members because of Sahiba. He blames Saiba for all the problems.
Guests arrive for the reception. Reporters ask Jaspal about the reception. Garry takes over and tells Jaspal that he will handle the reporters.
Garry signals his puppet reporter who says already there was drama at the wedding and now they will learn what the next drama will be at the reception. Garry asks her to sensationalize the story as much as she can.
As Angad walks in, reporters ask him about his rift with his wife and if his wife will attend the reception. Upon entering, Inder tongue-lashes reporters for sensationalizing someone’s personal life for their own gain and says a bride is considered to be a queen, so they should wait until a queen is ready.
Inder’s puppet reporter asks what Garry is doing here. Inder asks what kind of question this is, he’s attending his son’s reception. He takes Angad from there. Inder says he came to support Angad when a confident Angad looked weak and thought he needed his papa, so he came to support him.
Reporters ask Brars why they are acting normal after such a strenuous wedding, and why Sahiba hasn’t come down. Sahiba walks up and says Sahiba Brar is here, holds Angad’s hand and says maybe he has a problem posing for pictures.
