The pandit announces that the pooja has been completed. Meet looks for Sumeet and asks where she is.
Sumeet tells the boy not to worry when he’s here, and she helps him stand up. Meet starts looking for Sumeet
A scared boy does not say anything. Sumeet gives him water and asks him why they were chasing him, at least tell me your name. I am Sumeet, what is your name. Sumeet says he’ll call him Chiku because he loves the sweet fruit. As they met on the street, Sumeet said, “Your mom is here, let’s meet her.” Chiku became scared. Sumeet needs to come, otherwise those bad guys will catch you again. He drops the bottle in fear.
Chiku put him in the car’s trunk and says you should come with me to my home and keep silent. Seeing Sumeet standing behind the car, Meet walks toward him. Sumeet closes the trunk. He asks her what she was doing here. She said she was saving Chiku. The pooja is finished, so we should leave, so Manmeet walks to her and puts her in the car. The three men leave in the car with Chiku in the trunk.
Gunwanti took tea to Kanika, for which Mahendra asked her to fetch documents of the alcohol factory and politely request the Minister’s signature. He then offered her a bribe in order to speed up the process but she informed Gunwanti that her husband is smart. After getting a call from some goons saying they were unable to find the boy, Kanika got another call from the Minister and left abruptly. Mahendra tried to stop her but Chiku, seeing this frightfully closed his trunk again, after which she left. Manmeet inquired about who she was and Mahendra replied that it was the Secretary of the Minister who he didn’t know why had left so hastily.
Chiku goes and hides inside the house. He remembers Kanika torturing him and his friends for stealing. The boy says we won’t steal for you. Kanika bangs his head against the wall and the boy falls. A man checks the boy and tells Secratary that he is dead. She gets sacred to check his breath and Chiku runs away.
As Sumeet asks Meet why he doesn’t have a brother, Meet remembers her first child. Manmeet tells Sumeet not to worry, we’ll get you a younger brother soon. As Sumeet walks to Chiku, he says I’ll figure out how to take you inside where you will be safe.
Manmeet and Meet met in her room. Showing Meet her article, Manmeet held up a newspaper that had a terribly sad story about a boy who lost his life after the orphanage roof caved in on him. Emotionally, Meet lamented at the fact that these children lacked proper caregiving and thought back to her own son. Manmeet suggested that they should find a solution. However, she had no way of helping with this matter. But at that moment, Meet offered up a brilliant idea; why not open their own orphanage? Amazed by this suggestion, Manmeet happily agreed and urged them to get started.
Sumeet brought a bunny costume for Chiku and encouraged him to put it on, so he could hide in the house. Meet and Manmeet went out, and Sumeet helped Chiku with the costume. When Sumeet asked where Chiku was from, he started to cry. She comforted him by saying that her home was his home too, and her parents were his parents now. When Meet and Manmeet returned, Meet noticed Sumeet playing with a strong-looking bunny and then left again in their car. After she was gone, Sumeet remarked to Chiku that she was as smart as her mother – they had not realised he was inside the costume.
Kanika tells Minister not to worry, we will find the boy. Minister says if he tells anyone about the murder, I’ll lose my chair. Minister leaves. Goons walk to Secretary and say we cannot find him. Sarkar’s family owns a good deal of land in Sarkarpur and wants to open a factory, so their house would be a perfect fit for me.
Gunwanti was in the kitchen and tripped over a thali with red chilli. This caused the room to fill up with smoke, making her and Sumeet who had been walking with Chiku cough uncontrollably. Sumeet rushed Chiku up the stairs while Gunwanti was in shock about something else – she had spotted a bunny running around inside the house! Stopping Sumeet in his tracks, she recounted what she’d seen, and he responded nervously. He asked her what her mother fed her, for seeing a bunny running around. Gunwanti smiled, saying she had indeed seen it, and went closer to get a better look at it.
